Seeking a Food Prep who enjoys working as part of a team to provide excellent customer service and culinary skills for our clients. This is a great opportunity to work in a corporate dining environment.
Job Responsibilities and Essential Duties:
Prepare, cook and serve hot and cold foods as determined by the supervisor.
Assemble, operate and disassemble the following equipment: meat and cheese slicer, food processor, R-2/Robocoupe, food choppers, and cutters, food blenders and mixers (floor and table models).
Comprehend and follow all verbal and written instructions from the supervisor.
Operate the following equipment: saute burners, convection oven, kettle steamer, warming unit, pizza oven, microwave, grill/flat top and fryer. Use various size pots/pans, platters, dishes and hand held utensils, knives.
Receive, unpack, rotate and stow deliveries per supervisor's instruction and food & safety standards.
Seeking customer service oriented individual with strong communication skills.
Clean and sanitize using mops, brooms, dust pans, buckets, cleaning towels and agents.
Lift and move food, food containers and other non-food items from floor position to no higher than one's own height.
Adhere to client and company protocols related to COVID-19 workplace safety and sanitation standards.
Follow all outlined health and safety regulations with regard to equipment use and personal hygiene.
This position may be called upon to perform other jobs as determined by the supervisor.
Must be able to stand for extended periods of time.

PURPOSE
The FoodServer is responsible for welcoming guests, accurately taking all food and beverage orders, and making sure they are delivered in a timely manner to the guests satisfaction.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Provide guests with accurate and thorough information regarding menu items, pricing, and allergen information
Recognize and cultivate regular guests and repeat business
Take and enter orders into POS system promptly and accurately
Ensure all the food and drinks are served immediately and according to specifications
Ensure that all the necessary stock is being replenished during the shift
Move furniture as directed by management, including but not limited to: tables, chairs, bar stools, banquettes, bar tables, boxes, and equipment
Respond to guest concerns/complaints and correct errors or resolve complaints while maintaining a positive attitude escalating to management when necessary
Comply with all safety and health department procedures and all state and federal liquor laws
Maintain company safety and sanitation standards
Prepare guest checks through POS terminal functions. Process guest payments by cash, credit card, venue comps and all other tender types
Collect required signatures from guest and promptly close guest checks
Ensure accurate accounting of all monies and independent banking procedures
Sign all cash out slips legibly

POSITION SUMMARY
As a Server in our community restaurant, you are responsible for delivering exceptional dining experiences to our senior residents by providing friendly, professional, and efficient service during meals and special events. This role ensures residents' dietary needs and preferences are met while fostering a welcoming and inclusive dining environment. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Greet residents and guests warmly, creating a positive dining atmosphere.
Take meal orders accurately and deliver food and beverages promptly.
Ensure meals are served according to residents' dietary requirements and preferences, including portion sizes and special requests.
Ensure a smooth and enjoyable experience for all residents, serving food and beverages with a smile.
Prepare the dining room before each meal by setting tables with linens, utensils, and glassware.
Clear tables promptly after meals, ensuring cleanliness and organization.
Reset tables for the next meal service.
Communicate resident feedback and requests to the Culinary Director or kitchen staff.
Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines, including proper handling of food and beverages.
Ensure compliance with local health department regulations and Cogir senior living standards.
Requirements:
CANDIDATE QUALIFICATIONS
Education and certificates:
A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred but not required.
A Food Handler Card with an understanding of kitchen sanitation and food codes is a plus.
Experience, Competencies, and Skills:
At least 6-12 months of experience in a serving, hospitality, or customer service role is a plus.
Previous experience in senior living, healthcare, or hospitality settings is highly desirable.
Strong interpersonal, communication, and teamwork skills.
Friendly, patient, and professional demeanor
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to excellent customer service.
