Food Service Staff /Food Services REPORTS TO : Food Service Director EMPLOYMENT STATUS: Part-time, Monday-Friday Hours vary depending on the school building (3-4 hours per day) FLSA STATUS: Non-exempt POSITION SUMMARY : Assist with food preparation, serving and clean up. Handle financial transactions of the student and staff. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Assist with the preparation and serving of foods, according to instructions provided by the Head Cook or the Food Service Director. Follow state and local health and safety regulations for the proper handling and storage of food, and the cleaning of cafeteria equipment. Receive money from customers and keep accurate records of the transactions. Prepare a daily deposit for the food service director to pick up.
