The Union hourly workers are represented by Local 17A of the United Food & Commercial Workers Union. The factory currently operates production lines on day and afternoon shifts. The midnight shift is dedicated to sanitation, maintenance and warehouse; disassembling, cleaning, completely sanitizing all production lines and equipment, and reassembling them in preparation for the next day's production operation. All products are micro-tested in the on-site Quality Assurance Laboratory. The products manufactured at the Massillon factory are distributed throughout the United States and Canada through retail and warehouse club outlets. Job Title: Food Service Worker I Physical Location: Kent Campus - Kent, OH Salary: $16.57 - $17.31 (6 month rate) Basic Function: Assists in food preparation and related food service activities. Reports to Food Service Manager, Food Service General Manager, or other designated supervisor.
