This applies to purchasing alcohol at the Grab and Go, Restaurant, and Club Lounge, if alcohol is available. · Take orders while paying attention to details (e.g. allergies, preferences of coffee, dairy etc.) Must input all items utilizing MICROS point of sale system. · Prepare and serve beverages i.e. coffee, lattes etc. following recipes and per guests' requests. Deliver prepared food such as cookies, pastries, and sandwiches. · Maintain appropriate stock levels of clean mugs, cups and lids, plates, sugar caddies, roll-ups and all merchandise including the Grab and Go items. Fully stock areas with amenities i.e. drinks, snacks, food etc. at the conclusion of shift. · Greet all guests in a warm and enthusiastic manner and assist in seating guests as needed. Use proper verbiage and etiquette while interacting with guests. i.e. good morning and good evening. Must follow all Marriott International standards. · Memorize menu selections and all available alcohol including being familiar with daily specials and basic ingredients. · Ensure cleanliness of area of responsibility at conclusion of each shift. Clear and reset counters, tables and chairs. Must remove all trash. Cleaning and wiping down of service areas and prep areas including pantry and kitchen area. · Notify a manager immediately of any guest complaints. Communicate customer feedback to supervisor/manager and ensure we provide exceptional customer service to all guests. · Present menu, answer questions, and make suggestions regarding food, service, appropriate wines, and food preparation. · Total bill and accept payment I.e. charge to room, credit card, or cash. Must obtain signature and room number if charged to room. Refer to Cash Handling Policy. · Practice and observe all safety rules and procedures. Comply with health and safety regulations. Assist all Food and Beverage service personnel in any duties as requested.
