Servers provide dining services in the HCZ community's dining room while exceeding hospitality and service standards. As a server, you will be an ambassador of the HCZ Kitchen's core values. You will be responsible for interacting with our guests and ensuring our serving area processes run smoothly. Here's 7 Things You Need to Know/a./p p /p pstrongspan style="text-decoration: underline;"Minimum Qualifications/span/strong/p ul li High School Diploma /li li Valid DOH NYC Food Protection Certificate /li /ul p /p pspan style="text-decoration: underline;"strong Who you are/strong/span/p ul li Good interpersonal and communication skills/li li Ability to work in a team environment and demonstrate excellent customer service/li li Minimum two years experience in the food service/customer service/li li Must be able to understand verbal and written instructions/li li Basic culinary knowledge of product identification, terminology, and production/li li Must be able to work well in stressful, high-pressure situations, including handling guest complaints and disputes and resolving them to satisfactory results./li li Effective listening to, understanding, and clarifying concerns and issues raised by team members and guests must be effective./li li The individual is responsible for achieving on-site certifications provided by the employer/li /ul p /p pbr/span style="text-decoration: underline;"strong What you'll do/strong/span/p ul li Responsible for plating meals according to proper portion sizes/li li Responsible for the set-up, breakdown, and re-set of serving lines; and after-meal service/li li Assist with stocking, as needed, all side stations and other designated areas with proper supplies and items prior to the start of each meal service/li li Maintain sanitary conditions; implement and practice a “Clean as you Go” to keep areas clean and safe.
