Summit Club is seeking a Food Server to join the Food and Beverage Service Department. As a Food Server in our exclusive and private country club, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional dining experiences to our members and their guests. The ideal candidate will possess extensive knowledge of fine dining etiquette, menu offerings, and wine pairings while maintaining the highest standards of hospitality. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Member and Guest Service: Provide impeccable, personalized service to all members and their guests, ensuring a memorable dining experience. Anticipate member and guest needs, addressing requests promptly and professionally. Order Management: Present menus, offer detailed descriptions of dishes, and make informed recommendations, including wine and beverage pairings. Accurately take and input orders into the POS system, ensuring attention to dietary preferences or restrictions. Delivery and Presentation: Serve food and beverages promptly, maintaining elegant and proper service techniques consistent with fine dining standards. Ensure all food and beverage presentations meet the club's quality and aesthetic standards. Collaboration and Teamwork: Work closely with the culinary, management and bar teams to ensure seamless coordination and execution of service. Support team members during peak times and assist with side work, including resetting tables and maintaining a clean and organized environment. Knowledge and Upselling: Stay well-versed in all menu offerings, daily specials, and club events to provide informed recommendations. Promote additional food and beverage options to enhance the member experience. Compliance: Adhere to all club policies, procedures, and standards. Ensure compliance with health, safety, and sanitation regulations. QUALIFICATIONS: Prior experience in fine dining or a luxury hospitality environment is preferred. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a focus on professionalism. Strong knowledge of food, wine, and beverage service, including wine pairings. Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Flexible availability, including weekends and holidays. Must possess a valid SNHD health card & TAM Card. Common knowledge of safe food handling and sanitation practices preferred. Work requires effective communication in English, both verbal and written form in a professional manner. Must present a neat and professional appearance. PHYSICAL, MENTAL AND ENVIRONMENTAL DEMANDS: Ability to stand and walk for extended periods. Lift and carry trays, plates, and other items weighing up to 25 pounds. Maintain stamina during busy service periods. Disclaimer and Probationary Period This position is subject to a 90-day probationary period beginning on the date of hire. During this time, performance and suitability for the role will be assessed. Employment beyond the probationary period is contingent on satisfactory performance and adherence to club standards.
