Job Summary The Vault Cocktail Server is responsible for providing the highest quality of service to guests in an attentive, courteous, and efficient manner within a dynamic and theatrical setting. This role combines traditional table service with light performance, including participation in choreographed dance routines during select service periods. The server must be energetic, engaging, and comfortable in an immersive, entertainment-driven environment. He/she is also responsible for receiving and delivering guest orders and collecting payment while maintaining the elevated atmosphere of the speakeasy concept. Education & Experience • High School diploma or equivalent. • Minimum of 1 year of serving experience in restaurants or related field, experience in a luxury hospitality setting is preferred. • Strong customer service skills. • Fully bilingual (English and Spanish). • Safety and Food Handling Certification. • Valid Alcohol Training Certification (TIPS) preferred. • Valid Health Certificate (including throat culture results) as required by the Puerto Rico Department of Health. Skills and Competencies • Demonstrates strong presence with confidence and charisma while interacting with guests in an immersive, entertainment-driven environment. • Comfortable participating in choreographed group movements or light dance routines, contributing to the unique atmosphere of the outlet. • Able to maintain character, energy, and mood throughout service, supporting a consistent and engaging speakeasy-style experience. • Exhibits a high level of attention to detail, ensuring every food and beverage is served with precision, correct presentation, and in line with luxury brand standards. • Maintains elegant and composed movement while transporting trays of cocktails and food through dynamic, high-traffic areas. • Demonstrates time management and multitasking abilities to ensure timely delivery of orders during high-volume or performance-heavy service periods. • Communicates clearly and professionally with both guests and team members, offering engaging and informed service while supporting the outlet's immersive storytelling. • Understands the menu offerings in depth, including ingredients, pairings, and guest preferences, to anticipate needs and enhance the overall guest experience. • Can apply knowledge of luxury service standards (e.g., Forbes Travel Guide, AAA Diamond Ratings), delivering service that reflects poise, polish, and personalized hospitality. Physical Requirements • Flexible and long hours are sometimes required. • Must be able to stand or walk for an entire shift. • Routinely required to bend, stoop, stand, and walk for extended periods. • Medium work - Exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 25 pounds of force frequently, and/or 10 pounds of force constantly to lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise move objects. • Must have the physical stamina and ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, high-traffic environment.
