About the Venue
Liberty First Credit Union Arena is an indoor arena located in the Ralston/Omaha, Nebraska area. The 200,000 sq. ft. arena can accommodate up to 4,400 patrons and hosts 350,000+ attendees at upwards of 140 concerts, sporting events, family shows, and other events every year. The arena is home to the USHL Omaha Lancers Hockey team and the NAL Omaha Beef Football team. The arena is just two miles from the interstate and attracts concert goers from a 100-mile radius.
Responsibilities
* Set up and remove stage, risers, seating, tables, flooring, etc. for various events.
* Proactively use all safety mandates and teach others to do to the same.
* Promote a safe and efficient work environment.
* Be available for event support, as needed.
* Operate with an emphasis on safety for employees, teams, and guests.
* Other duties involving assisting other departments as assigned.
* Work extended and/or irregular hours including nights, weekends and holidays, as needed.

Position Summary
The Banquet Server will provide ultimate hospitality for guests in a fast-paced, high volume environment.
This role pays an hourly rate of $15.00-$16.00

This position will remain open until April 17, 2026.
Responsibilities
Ability to read and understand Banquet Event Orders.
Ability to carry at least 8 entrees per tray.
Provide fine dining level food and beverage service to guests for all events consistent with DLTCC standards of service.
Initiate and maintain friendly and professional contact with guests ensuring that all needs are anticipated and met.
Setup and maintain both food and beverage stations in various locations throughout the building consistent with DLTCC standards of service.
Maintain and inventory for both food and beverage stations.
Maintain all event areas and front of house staging areas in a tidy and organized manner.
Participate in both setup and cleanup of food and beverage service items.
Ability to work independently during slower times
Perform safe work by helping to provide a safe and clean work environment.
Have a high level of social contact. Ability to work closely with staff and deal often with patrons.
Ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends and select holidays.
Must be detail oriented to ensure that work is accurate and complete.
Ability to mutli-task.
Ability to handle and move objects.
Must have a customer-focused, positive and professional attitude.
Ability to read with oral and written communications skills in the English language.
Knowledge of basic arithmetic (addition, subtraction, multiplication and division).
Must be able to stand for extend periods of time.
Ability to bend, stretch, twist or reach out with the body, arms and/or legs.
Must be able to lift, push, pull or carry heavy objects up to 30 lbs. and 15 lbs. often.
Must be punctual with consistent attendance.
Must be able to respond to simple complaints or inquiries from customers, members of the business community, and/or regulatory agencies.
Qualifications
High School diploma or equivalent GED strong preferred. Equivalent experience may be substituted.
Minimum of one (1) year of work experience in events, banquets or restaurants preferred.
Must be at least eighteen years of age.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Greet and assist guests in a friendly, courteous, and professional manner
Provide immediate and attentive service to all members and guests throughout the event
Serve food and beverages, including pouring/refilling wine, coffee, water, and other drinks
Manage buffet stations, ensuring items are restocked, clean, and well-presented
Clear soiled dishes and bus tables throughout the event and during event breakdown
Assist with post-event cleanup, including removing linens, glassware, and resetting the room
Maintain cleanliness and organization in both event and kitchen areas
Communicate effectively with Banquet Captains, Managers, and Culinary Team to ensure smooth service
Remain knowledgeable about all banquet food and beverage menus
Follow proper service styles (e.g., buffet, American, plated) as needed
Comply with all food safety protocols and sanitation standards
Ensure all alcohol service complies with state/local laws and club policies
Report any guest or member concerns to a supervisor promptly
Perform other duties as assigned
