Assists as needed with retail operations in the Greenhouse Grill to include; operating the Point-Of-Sale (POS) system, pre-preparing and serving food, cleaning and stocking. Cleans and sanitizes workstations and equipment and follows all department and regulator rules and procedures. Follows Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point (HACCP)/ServSafe procedures to ensure proper sanitation and safety standards. Maintains HACCP records according to established department guidelines ensuring continued accuracy of information. Operates a cash register, POS, or equivalent; receives payments of cash and charges from customers and employees; makes change and issue receipts or tickets. Maintains proper security of cash at all times; verifies cash register total at the beginning of a shift; records totals and summarize funds received; assists in locating, reconciling and verifying the accuracy of transactions.
