Position Overview:
Giana Restaurant is in search of a diligent and proactive Bar Back to provide essential support to our bar team. As a Bar Back, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our bar, enabling bartenders to craft exceptional cocktails and provide impeccable service. Key Responsibilities:
- Bartender Support: Assist bartenders in preparing and garnishing cocktails and other beverages.
- Inventory Management: Maintain bar inventory, restocking supplies, and ensuring availability of necessary ingredients.
- Glassware and Utensil Maintenance: Collect, clean, and polish glassware and bar tools to ensure they are ready for service.
- Cleaning and Sanitization: Ensure cleanliness and sanitation of bar areas, including counters, sinks, and equipment.
- Stocking: Keep bar stations fully stocked with liquor, mixers, garnishes, and other essentials during service.
- Guest Service: Provide courteous and efficient service to guests at the bar, such as serving water and taking drink orders.
- Waste Management: Dispose of waste and empty bottles in an organized and eco-friendly manner.
- Assistance in Bar Setup and Breakdown: Assist in setting up and breaking down the bar area before and after service.
- Assist with Special Events: Support the bar team during special events and promotions.
- Safety Compliance: Follow all safety and hygiene protocols to ensure a safe work environment.

Qualifications:
- Strong work ethic and a proactive attitude.
