Summary of Position
The Bartender will be responsible for preparing and serving drinks to our guests. They will be required to mix and match ingredients to create classic and innovative drinks in accordance with guests' needs and expectations. Roles and Responsibilities
Mix drinks, cocktails and other bar beverages as ordered and in compliance with hotel standard drink recipes.
Ability to sell or influence others for up selling and suggestive options.
Maintain complete knowledge of all beverage liquor brands, beers and non-alcoholic selections, correct glassware and garnishes.
Ensure that the assigned bar area is fully equipped with tools and products needed for mixing beverages and serving guests.
Check storage areas for proper supplies, organization, and cleanliness.
Open and serve wine/champagne bottles in accordance with departmental standards.
Anticipate guests' needs with a sense of urgency by responding promptly and efficiently.
Handle guest complaints in the most expedient, professional, and respectful manner.
Adhere to payment, cash handling and credit policies/procedures.
Own and be accountable for handling an assigned house bank and all cash handling procedures as per hotel standard
