As the Food Service Worker you will be responsible for assisting catering services personnel in the preparing, serving, and distributing of food to customers or clients in a clean, safe, and sanitary environment. What does a typical day look like for the Food Service Worker? You will: Assist in transporting prepared food into dining facilities from delivery vehicles. Conduct light food preparation (slicing of fresh fruits and vegetables, etc.). Serve food to customers in a cafeteria-type setting. Assist in the transportation of trays and service equipment from dining facilities to delivery vehicles. Conduct general clean-up and sanitation of food service areas.
