Stock and rotate food supplies in all storage areas.
Attend required trainings, workshops, and staff development activities.

The FoodServices Coordinator monitors the kitchen inventory, develops the kitchen budget, and prepares rotating 5-week meal plans for programs across the organization. The FoodServices Coordinator will prepare nutritious foods for the Clifton Residence following a five-week meal plan and in accordance with all health and safety guidelines and meeting the requirements of the licensing agencies. The FoodServices Coordinator will prepare meals according to recipes, quality standards, and presentation standards; prepare cold foods with proper handling and storing; and prepare hot foods using ovens, stoves, grills, microwaves, and standard kitchen equipment. This position will test foods to determine proper temperature and document temperatures as required. The FoodServices Coordinator will monitor food quality while preparing, serving, and storing food; set-up and break down workstations effectively; wash and disinfect the kitchen area, tables, tools, knives, and equipment; and conduct thorough cleaning procedures to meet all regulations.
This position will order foods and inventory for multiple sites across the organization within the budget and will make deliveries to programs across 180 Degrees as needed.
This position will work 20-hours per week at the Minneapolis location which is licensed through the Department of Corrections. The FoodServices Coordinator does not have direct reports.
Responsibilities : Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Develop a budget and ensure cost-effective purchases of food and bulk foodservice supplies.
Create a 5-week rotating meal plan that is nutritious and provides variety; post monthly meals at each program utilizing the 5-week meal plan.
Follow health and safety guidelines in all duties and responsibilities; keep kitchens and storage areas clean and organized to ensure compliance with regulatory agencies and licensers
Possess knowledge of Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS) for chemicals used to perform functions of the job; keep chemicals and cleaning supplies correctly labeled and safely stored.
Follow and adhere to Universal Precautions and Infection Control procedures.
Maintain and rotate inventory using first in first out (FIFO) practices to ensure food quality and minimize waste.
Prepare, handle, cook, present, and serve food to residents following ServSafe requirements and best-practices; understand and practice food handling, sanitization requirements, pest management, cross-contamination, receiving and storing food, and food safety regulations.
Meet the Annual Health Inspection standards set by the Health Department.
