Key Responsibilities
1. Safety & Compliance

Coordinate with flight deck crew, security teams, and government protection units regarding emergency protocols.
2. Diplomatic Protocol & Government Etiquette

Manage protocol-sensitive arrangements such as delegation seating, ceremonial requirements, and discreet movement onboard.
Liaise with embassies, consulates, and government agencies to ensure correct handling of VIP expectations and special requests.
3. VVIP Service Excellence
Deliver highly personalized, luxury service to heads of state and senior VIPs.
Plan, design, and execute bespoke onboard dining, including gourmet menu preparation and premium service standards.
Maintain impeccable cabin presentation and attention to detail throughout the flight.
Manage confidential documents, personal items, and VIP preferences with absolute discretion.
4. Security & Confidentiality
Maintain strict confidentiality regarding passenger identities, movements, conversations, and mission details.
Adapt quickly to last-minute itinerary changes and high-security operations.
5. Operational Coordination
Coordinate with ground handling teams, diplomatic lounges, airport authorities, and protocol officers.
Oversee catering orders, special dietary requirements, and high-end amenities procurement.
Prepare detailed cabin readiness reports and VVIP preference logs.
Required Qualifications
Professional Qualifications
Valid Cabin Crew License (CCA / EASA / GCAA / FAA or equivalent).
Minimum 3-5 years of experience in VIP, VVIP, corporate jet, or first-class commercial aviation.
Experience working with government, military, or diplomatic clientele highly preferred.
Skills & Competencies
Strong understanding of diplomatic protocol and multicultural etiquette.
Outstanding communication, discretion, and emotional intelligence.
High-level culinary service skills (silver service, guéridon, wine knowledge).

Job Requirements:
Performs a variety of food service task involving preparing food and serving patients. Organizes work assignments in logical sequence to quickly and accurately meet strict meal schedules.
Works on assembly stations on the tray line during peak service times. Reads the meal ticket, selects, and places correct food items on patient trays as they proceed down tray assembly line. Loads meal trays onto delivery carts.
Transports food and other nutrition related items to/from the loading dock. This includes utilizing motorized transportation equipment to deliver food to the patients. Employee will be trained and licensed on all motorized & non-motorized transportation equipment.
Identifies obvious discrepancies and differences between the prescribed diet and the food items designated on the menu.
Sets up food and supplies for meal service such as dishes, silverware, trays, napkins, condiments, cold food such as salads, desserts, breads, beverages, and hot food steam items.
Breaks down and cleans assigned area when the meal is finished and returns soiled trays and dishes to the dish room.
Promptly delivers meal trays, picnics, menus, and supplies to patient care units, or outpatient clinics.
Demonstrates proper precautions and procedures when entering isolation rooms.
Removes soiled trays from patient units and returns to kitchen for dishwashing.
Uses work sheets to set up assigned station on the tray line with the correct supplies and food items.
Operate a mechanical dishwasher, including a conveyor belt feeding dishwasher. Removes inspection doors, strainer pans, screens, and spray arms for preventative maintenance and cleaning. Checks temperature gauges to ensure proper temperatures are reached for proper cleaning sanitation. Scrape,soak scour, and scrub the heavier cooking utensils such as mixing bowls and pots which because their large size and weight, are awkward to handle.
Cleans and sanitizes work areas and performs heavy-duty cleaning task throughout the food service and related areas.
Demonstrates understanding of infection control procedures through preparation techniques, food handling, storage and personal hygiene habits.
Reports faulty equipment to supervisor; labels, dates, stores, and rotates food to ensure safety; and exercises HACCP principles; performs other cleaning task (i.e. cleaning refrigerator, oven,work tables, walls) that are assigned, using proper cleaning agents and protective gear.
Collects and removes bins of trash to designated area. Returns trash bins to kitchen and cleans and sanitizes as needed.
May be assigned to unload food deliveries from/carts in storeroom.
Qualifications:

POSITION OVERVIEW

As part of our commitment to residents, NHT is working with Building Bridges Across the River and the Collaboration for Equitable Health to launch a multi-year project to address the social determinants of health East of the River. The project is called ViewStrong.
ViewStrong, power by the Interrupt is excited to bring a food pantry to Washington View. The food pantry is located across from the community laundry facility and is open to all residents. The food pantry will maintain a stock of groceries at no cost to residents.
POSITION
We are seeking two Washington View residents to serve as a Food Pantry Coordinators. This is a contract position that will begin in April. The Food Pantry Coordinators oversees operations of our small community food pantry and will work closely with staff from NHT, Building Bridges Across the River, Black Nurses Rock, and So What Else. This position will be contracted by NHT.
This position is DC-based. Due to the nature of the work, this position offers no remote work options. This position requires approximately 10-15 hours weekly, including all distribution days and preparation time.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Manage inventory
Schedule and supervise volunteers during operating hours
Coordinate with NHT on food deliveries and restocking
Maintain pantry organization and cleanliness standards
Process client intake and maintain confidential records
Monitor expiration dates and food safety compliance

Job Requirements:
Performs a variety of food service task involving preparing food and serving patients. Organizes work assignments in logical sequence to quickly and accurately meet strict meal schedules.
Works on assembly stations on the tray line during peak service times. Reads the meal ticket, selects, and places correct food items on patient trays as they proceed down tray assembly line. Loads meal trays onto delivery carts.
Transports food and other nutrition related items to/from the loading dock. This includes utilizing motorized transportation equipment to deliver food to the patients. Employee will be trained and licensed on all motorized & non-motorized transportation equipment.
Identifies obvious discrepancies and differences between the prescribed diet and the food items designated on the menu.
Sets up food and supplies for meal service such as dishes, silverware, trays, napkins, condiments, cold food such as salads, desserts, breads, beverages, and hot food steam items.
Breaks down and cleans assigned area when the meal is finished and returns soiled trays and dishes to the dish room.
Promptly delivers meal trays, picnics, menus, and supplies to patient care units, or outpatient clinics.
Demonstrates proper precautions and procedures when entering isolation rooms.
Removes soiled trays from patient units and returns to kitchen for dishwashing.
Uses work sheets to set up assigned station on the tray line with the correct supplies and food items.
Operate a mechanical dishwasher, including a conveyor belt feeding dishwasher. Removes inspection doors, strainer pans, screens, and spray arms for preventative maintenance and cleaning. Checks temperature gauges to ensure proper temperatures are reached for proper cleaning sanitation. Cleans and sanitizes work areas and performs heavy-duty cleaning task throughout the food service and related areas.
Demonstrates understanding of infection control procedures through preparation techniques, food handling, storage and personal hygiene habits.
Reports faulty equipment to supervisor; labels, dates, stores, and rotates food to ensure safety; and exercises HACCP principles; performs other cleaning task (i.e. cleaning refrigerator, oven, work tables, walls) that are assigned, using proper cleaning agents and protective gear.
Collects and removes bins of trash to designated area. Returns trash bins to kitchen and cleans and sanitizes as needed.

Ensure food in storage meets adequate levels of nutrition and sustenance. This includes refrigerated foods and food stored in hot holding.
Assists in the preparation of all meals (breakfast, lunch, snack, and supper).
Ensure that all substitution meals are prepared and delivered in a timely manner to the assigned classrooms.
Assist in inspecting kitchen equipment and utensils for cleanliness and functional operation
Maintain cleanliness and proper sanitation in kitchen area including: washing dishes and all utensils used in food preparation and service; daily cleaning of counter tops, oven, stove, warmers and other kitchen surfaces; cleaning refrigerators, freezers, storage shelves, and food carts
Ensure that all serving supplies and other materials need for family style dining are in the classrooms.
Maintain good parent relations and communication through a positive manner and professional image
Assist with the posting of all menus and essential documentation regarding food service and child nutrition
Ensure that all substitution menus and milk substitution list are current and posted in the kitchen and classrooms.
Maintain an accurate inventory log for all emergency food and ensure that there is always a 3-day supply of emergency food as per OSSE CACFP guidelines.
Report supply needs and equipment loss or damage to the Comprehensive Services Manager.
Responsible for maintaining all food service documents (e.g. Special Diet Menu, Inventory, Temperature Logs, Food delivery tickets) in the filing cabinet.
Collaborate with classroom teachers to implement nutrition activities with students.n
Administration
Update resources, announcements and nutritional newsletters
Produce/design notices for families or other communication as directed by the Child Nutrition Services Specialist or Comprehensive Services Manager.
Attend meetings and trainings as required by supervisor.
Performs other duties as assigned within the scope of the job description
EXPERIENCE AND ABILITIES
2 years of relevant experience
Food Handlers License; Food Protection Manager's certification preferred.
Served three or more years in a food service capacity with increasing responsibility.
Experience in an early childhood or school environment preferred.
Proficient with computer applications - understanding of Microsoft Outlook, word processing (Microsoft Word), and ability to learn and master other computer technology /software programs as needed. Good command of Internet usage and experience using general business office equipment.
Excellent verbal (including professional telephone skills) and written English communication.
Must have excellent communication, writing (includes grammar and punctuation), and interpersonal skills
Reliable and able to exercise discretion in handling confidential information and materials.
Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and exercise independent judgment in repeated and routine responsibilities and accomplish assignments in a timely manner.

EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS
High School or 2 years of comparable experience.
ADDITIONAL JOB REQUIREMENTS
Clearance of background check as required by local, state, and federal regulations.
Physical examination and diagnostic tests as required by local, state, and federal regulations.
A drug screen and bi-annual TB tests are required as a condition of continual employment.
Full Covid-19 vaccination is required as a condition of employment.
