This dual-role position is responsible for preparing, handling, and serving food in a clean and safe manner, as well as operating the cash register and providing friendly, efficient service to customers. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and following health and safety regulations. Key Responsibilities:Food Handling & Preparation: Prepare and assemble food items according to established recipes and quality standards. Maintain cleanliness and organization of food prep areas and equipment. Monitor food storage and handling practices to comply with food safety guidelines. Ensure proper portion sizes and presentation of all menu items. Assist with restocking supplies and ingredients as needed. Cashier Duties: Greet customers warmly and take food orders accurately. Operate the cash register or point-of-sale (POS) system efficiently. Handle cash, credit card, and mobile payments securely. Issue receipts and correct change. Balance cash drawer at beginning and end of shifts. General: Maintain a clean and sanitized work environment at all times. Follow all health, safety, and sanitation procedures. Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth workflow and customer satisfaction. Assist with opening and closing duties as assigned by management. Qualifications: Previous experience in food service and/or cashiering preferred. Excellent customer service and communication skills. Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced setting. Basic math skills and attention to detail.
