Principal Responsibilities: Plan, organize, and manage the day-to-day crewing personnel functions in compliance with company policy. Update & maintain crew database daily. Maintain organized documentation for all crewing matters. Manage crew changes for assigned vessels in the most efficient and cost-effective manner. Responsible for the effective crewing of vessels and crew travel arrangements. Manage crew performance through coaching and corrective action. Monitor Department Goals and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) including crew utilization, travel, retention, and other key metrics. Perform on-call rotation duties, to ensure crewing function coverage after hours and on holidays and weekends. Weekly attendance of 0600-crew change meeting at our St. Rose office to assist with crew change logistics. Manage monthly vessel travel budgets in conjunction with vessel operating budget, driving continuous improvement. Perform vessel visits to interact and build working relationships with crew members. Qualifications: Previous experience in Crew Management, preferably in the maritime industry, is desired. Must be a team player who exhibits effective communication and interpersonal skills. Must be proficient in Microsoft Office, specifically strong in Microsoft Excel. Knowledge of Safety Management Systems. Positive attitude with proven history of solving problems, customer service experience desired. Must be available to work on call rotation including after business hours, weekends, and holidays.
