WHAT YOU'LL DO
🍳 Kitchen Operations:
Maintain a clean and sanitary workstation; perform opening and closing duties using the standard checklist.
Prepare a variety of menu items including meats, seafood, poultry, vegetables, and other foods using kitchen equipment.
Receive, date, log, and store all delivered R&D products.
Manage supply orders, maintain stock levels, and ensure proper rotation of food and paper items.
Perform routine maintenance of kitchen equipment and calibrate thermometers and other devices monthly.
🍴 Culinary Development Support:
Assist in food preparation for Marketing or Training photoshoots.
Support prep for Guest intercepts, including printing and setup.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
Minimum 3 years of kitchen experience, including line or prep cook roles.
Strong knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices.
Understanding portion sizes, cooking methods, quality standards, and kitchen policies.
Ability to read and execute recipes, SOPs, and visual aids.
Proficient in prep, cooking, and using kitchen equipment (knives, broilers, ovens, grills, fryers).
Strong attention to detail, organization, and record-keeping skills.
Ability to work independently and multitask under minimal supervision.

Where you will be: This is a 100 percent onsite role at our PACE Center, right in the heart of daily kitchen and meal service operations.
When you will work: Shifts are typically scheduled Monday through Friday between 7:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m., aligned with center and meal service times.
Flexibility for program needs: From time to time, you may adjust your schedule slightly to support special events, holiday celebrations, or high-volume days.
Getting around: Light, local travel may occasionally be needed to support program operations, such as picking up supplies or assisting with off-site events.
Work style: This is an in-person, hands-on role with no remote work, ideal for someone who enjoys being on their feet, engaging with participants, and working closely with a busy kitchen team.
How You'll Move Through the Day:
On your feet and in the action - You'll spend much of your day standing and walking as you help prep, plate, and serve meals, check on participants, and keep the kitchen flowing smoothly.
Bend, reach, repeat - Expect frequent bending, reaching, twisting, and stooping to grab items from ovens, refrigerators, shelves, carts, and serving lines.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Responsibilities:

Assist with all cleaning duties as stated on opening/closing and weekly checklists.
Adhere to all safety and sanitation guidelines to maintain a clean and safe work environment behind the counter and in the dining area where applicable.
Report to work as scheduled and fulfill all position requirements for the duration of shift.
Box, package, or plate cupcakes and other bakery goods as needed.
Act with a high level of detail when following instructions down to the dot on top of a Sprinkles cupcake.
Requirements:
A passion and love of the Sprinkles product, brand, and experience.
Able to communicate verbally and understand and follow written and verbal instructions from management.
Can work well under pressure while maintaining a consistent pace throughout your shift.
Ability to be on your feet for hours at a time.
Able to lift at least 25 pounds, which includes carrying cupcake trays, cupcake batter, and frosting in addition to bags of boxed purchases.
Must be able to move around the front of the bakery as you bend down for bags and reach up for cupcake trays.
