Performs food handling and clean up duties Upon conclusion of the tray assembly process, covers food and refrigerates leftovers. Follows proper procedure to clean and sanitize equipment and work area. As food carts are returned to kitchen, removes all trays and trash, and sorts and processes items for the dishwasher including recycling where appropriate. Puts away cleaned items and cleans and sanitizes food trucks. Cleans and organizes reach-in coolers, walk-in coolers, storage areas, work tables, shelves and drawers. Performs other duties as assigned Operates dishwasher as needed or assigned. Prepares and delivers daily mid-morning and mid-afternoon nourishments. Fills bulk daily nourishment request for patient units. Willingly and enthusiastically performs other duties as assigned. Demonstrates dependability Follows directions without repeated instruction. Listens to and respects the Food Service Assistant. Completes assigned tasks correctly and within time frame. Follows safety and sanitation rules at all times. Is on duty and ready to work on time.
