Job Summary

Weighs and measures designated ingredients.

Stay current with student food allergies, diet changes, gluten-free/dairy-free guidelines, and specialized meal plans for individuals
Follow all food safety and sanitation procedures, including proper handwashing, glove use, and safe food handling
Sanitation and Cleanliness
Clean and sanitize food prep areas, equipment, carts, and the serving line after each use
Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen, storerooms, refrigerators, freezers, and restrooms
Wash dishes and utensils using a commercial dishwasher or by hand as needed
Inventory and Organization
Put away food deliveries and assist with checking inventory
Complete daily checklists and maintain records such as production logs, temperature charts, and cleaning logs
Review menus daily and help plan ahead for necessary food preparation
Team Collaboration & Communication
Communicate clearly and respectfully with the Cook, FoodServices Supervisor, and other team members
Follow all company policies, health and safety guidelines, and confidentiality expectations

Ability to work 10:00am-6:00pm on weekends as needed.
