We are seeking strong, experienced candidates. This is a part-time position, and although we are open 7 days a week, we currently have the strongest need for individuals who are available on Thursday, Friday and especially Sundays. If you don't have consistent availability on those days, please don't apply. Key Responsibilities Kitchen Assistant Role - This position requires strong attention to detail, a proactive approach, and a passion for creating a seamless culinary experience for both instructors and guests. Responsibilities include: Ensure all ingredients are prepped and the kitchen is set up with necessary equipment before each class or event. Work closely with the Chef Instructor, anticipating their needs and assisting students/guests throughout the experience. Welcome students and private event guests, helping them feel comfortable and prepared for their cooking or baking session. Kitchen Maintenance & Cleanliness: Assist with dishwashing and general cleaning during and after classes/events. Follow safety protocols, help with storage organization, and assist with additional kitchen projects as assigned. Support general kitchen operations and take on tasks as directed. Qualifications & Competencies Previous experience as a kitchen assistant in a commercial kitchen is required; kitchen management experience is a plus. Physical Requirements: Ability to stand for 5 hours and frequently lift/move objects from to 10 to 35 lbs. Strong familiarity with kitchen operations, equipment, and food/produce basics. Work Ethic: High energy, strong work ethic, and the ability to move efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Attitude & Mindset: Positive, professional demeanor. Customer-focused with a strong commitment to guest experience. Team-oriented with a collaborative approach. Skills: Exceptional attention to detail and thoroughness.
