Tends and loads dish machines in patient and employee dishrooms; may wash certain items, such as pots and pans, by hand. Delivers clean dishes and utensils to proper kitchen unit. Cleans and sanitizes work areas, walk-in storage areas, refrigerators. Cleans and sanitizes equipment, disassembling and re-assembling as required; mops floors and performs special cleaning duties assigned by supervisor. Transports food and supplies in bulk from location to location. Collects, processes, and disposes of trash and garbage as needed and directed. Maintains established departmental policies and procedures, objectives, quality assurance program, safety, environmental, and infection control standards. Customer Service: respect, flexibility, knowledge, confidence, professionalism, pleasant attitude, patience and helpfulness. All responses should be timely, professional, caring, and respectful in accordance with Customer Service Performance expectations. Understands and adheres to the Medical Center's Code of Conduct.
