Compensation Data
COMPENSATION: The Hourly rate for this position is $18.45 to $18.75. If both numbers are the same, that is the amount that Aramark expects to offer. This is Aramark's good faith and reasonable estimate of the compensation for this position as of the time of posting.

Job Responsibilities

Maintain garbage collection site and kitchen floor areas in a neat and sanitary fashion
Perform other duties as assigned including other areas in the kitchen
This role may have physical demands including, but not limited to, lifting, bending, pushing, pulling and/or extended walking and standing. This role may also require uniforms and/or usage of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).

SUPERVISION RECEIVED
The , the Head Start Performance Standards and the content area work
plan serve as a guideline. Assistance is received from other agency staff as needed.
Outside assistance can be received from other related resources. Head Start
effectively uses the teamwork approach. All content areas are interwoven so as to
better assist and support families. The immediate supervisor is responsible for appraisals
of this position.
Content area supervision, training and technical assistance are received from the staff
person responsible for health, nutrition and child safety content areas as
well as other specialists/coordinators and/or managers as needed. The content area
Work Plan must be followed. The Head Start Performance Standards and related
regulations must also be followed. This position must be able to initiate, prioritize, and
carry out functions without continuous direct supervision.
Qualifications
G. KNOWLEDGE AND ABILITIES
Knowledge: Some knowledge of food preparation and storage techniques.
Some knowledge of USDA/CACFP program requirements and Head Start Performance
Standards related to food and nutrition. Some knowledge of the local, state and
federal regulations pertaining to sanitation and foodservice. Some knowledge of
regulations associated with prevention of occupational disease and injury, including
the exercise of universal precautions and the prevention of contamination.
Abilities: Ability to assist in preparing healthy and attractive meals and snacks and

H. EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
The minimum requirement is that the individual be 18 years of age. This is an
entry-level position requiring no previous education or experience unless there
is a local or state regulation that requires a high school diploma or G.E.D. A high
school diploma or G.E.D. is preferred. Ability to meet state requirements (i.e.,
kitchen and/or health permit) required.
If applicable federal, state or local Head Start or child care regulations, now or as amended
in the future, contain additional requirements or qualifications for this position which are not
specifically stated in this , the requirements and qualifications will apply, even

Bilingual preferred (English/Spanish or English and other languages present in the local
area). Within 90 days of employment, must obtain and continually maintain basic first
