Job Description Essential Job Functions: Follow cycle menus and standardized recipes in preparing a variety of meals for students and staff. Prepare ingredients, including cleaning, slicing, chopping, measuring, weighing, and portioning with accuracy and consistency. Execute basic cooking techniques such as roasting, baking, sauteing, and boiling in accordance with safety and quality standards. Monitor food quality and communicate concerns to supervisors immediately. Responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of equipment and work areas. Support meal service in Harvest Hall, including food truck or grab-and-go stations, ensuring timely and friendly service to students and staff. Participate in staff development and training in food trends, kitchen safety, and recipe innovation. May perform drop-off or delivery services.
