General Qualifications
Background/Criminal History: The County may access criminal history information on all candidates who have accepted a conditional offer of appointment for this class consistent with the provisions of Board of Supervisors Resolution No. 82-602, Personnel Policies and Procedure B-5 and applicable federal and state law. About the Role
As a utility vegetation management consulting contractor, Clear Path Utility Solutions, LLC our company consists of ISA Certified Arborists and Utility Specialists that verify and Audit tree contractor's work for compliance with client specifications and needs.
Clear Path Utility Solutions, LLC (CPUS) is currently scouting for Qualified Evaluators of all levels to join our team as a full-time employee in the California area. This role will be responsible for ensuring that compliance, skills assessments, and essential job functions are met and align with the companies' operational standards.
Responsibilities:
Proctor vegetation management assessments focusing on a specific area of skill/ knowledge including, but not limited to contract tree crew task(s)performed within vegetation management.
Follow state and federal regulations, along with PG&E Standard Operating Procedures, Safe Work Practices, and guidance documents.
Administer initial and subsequent assessments, in physical or digital versions, following PG&E program structure and parameters.
Use effective communication and tail boarding to ensure assessment participants understand the structure and the process of the assessments
Document and communicate results (pass/fail) to participants and first line supervision in a timely manner, using standardized templates, forms, and processes.
Perform other work as directed by PG&E.
QE Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, and Technical Competencies
Knowledge in technical discipline required for performing assessments.
Thorough understanding of specific work methods and procedures, including all safety practices.
Proficient in Microsoft Office: Word, Excel
Knowledge of OSHA Logging Regulations, ANSI Z133 Standards, and PG&E Safe Work Practices
Bilingual (English / Spanish) desired
Qualifications:
Certified Tree care Safety Professional (CTSP) or Consulting Utility Forester Safety Professional (CUFSP), preferred
Required - Two (2) - Five (5) years of experience in arboriculture industry respective technical trade
Five (5) years performing work relevant to assessments.
One (1) year in trainer or safety position
Must be able to perform initial assessments and pass with competent or proficient level. (Evaluated by client Qualified Evaluator)

Projects take place throughout California and the Pacific West

Members will receive a Living Allowance of $400/week, paid bi-weekly.

ACE provides members with food during all project days; members are responsible for providing their own food on off-days.
ACE provides members with free housing during their term of service. When working in or near the Pacific West Division, members spend off days in our hostel-style housing in Sacramento, CA. When working remotely, members will be provided tents and campsites in those remote locations. The member will provide their own blankets/pillow/sleeping bag/towels.
AmeriCorps members may also be eligible for qualifying child care coverage and federal loan forbearance. Additional enrollment steps are required.
Gear: ACE provides each member their own tent. The member will provide their own sleeping bag, sleeping pad, rain gear, and hiking boots. Upon acceptance to the program, members will receive a more extensive packing list. Weather can be highly variable, so plan on bringing layers of warm clothing and adequate rain gear.
Members will have access to deeply discounted Pro Deals via Outdoor Prolink once they are offered and accept a position, and will have the opportunity to purchase discounted gear prior to their arrival.

Position Description:
Members serve in professionally supervised teams as they explore future outdoor careers, learn practical field skills, and develop confidence as emerging leaders in the field of conservation. Members are afforded opportunities to learn and train under the guidance of professional mentors within ACE, while gaining invaluable career perspectives working alongside staff from the National Park Service, US Forest Service, Bureau of Land Management, US Fish and Wildlife Service, and many other stewards of our nation's public lands.
Field work and additional responsibilities might include but are not limited to:

Members get experience with, or in conjunction with, the following tools and equipment, depending on their level of training:
Trail Maintenance: Pick mattocks, Pulaskis, shovels, single/double jacks, McLeods, single bit axes, rock bars, chisels, crosscut saws, and griphoists.
Restoration Equipment: Herbicide backpack sprayers, spray bottles, GPS units, and measuring tools.
Power Tools and Gas Powered Equipment: Chainsaws, brush-cutters, drills, saws, and compressors.
Qualifications: Applicants should be prepared to perform physically challenging labor on environmental and conservation projects for 10 hours a day. Applicants should expect to hike extended distances on rough terrain carrying backpacks, tools, and equipment, and be prepared to spend 8 consecutive days in the field, on each project. Members will work in a variety of weather conditions such as temperatures ranging from below freezing to over 100 degrees Fahrenheit, high winds, intense sunshine, rain, and snow.

PURPOSE
The Food Server is responsible for welcoming guests, accurately taking all food and beverage orders, and making sure they are delivered in a timely manner to the guests satisfaction.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Provide guests with accurate and thorough information regarding menu items, pricing, and allergen information
Recognize and cultivate regular guests and repeat business
Take and enter orders into POS system promptly and accurately
Ensure all the food and drinks are served immediately and according to specifications
Ensure that all the necessary stock is being replenished during the shift
Move furniture as directed by management, including but not limited to: tables, chairs, bar stools, banquettes, bar tables, boxes, and equipment
Respond to guest concerns/complaints and correct errors or resolve complaints while maintaining a positive attitude escalating to management when necessary
Comply with all safety and health department procedures and all state and federal liquor laws
Maintain company safety and sanitation standards
Prepare guest checks through POS terminal functions. Process guest payments by cash, credit card, venue comps and all other tender types
Collect required signatures from guest and promptly close guest checks
Ensure accurate accounting of all monies and independent banking procedures
Sign all cash out slips legibly
Ensure complete and proper check out procedures
Clean all spills immediately and place all trash in proper receptacles
