Job Description- Prepare Samples using good overall lab practices and document each step and ensure testing area sanitized after each set of samples.
- Set up evaluation room for testing; which includes delivery and pickup of individual samples, basic daily cleanup, overall general knowledge and expected behavior when exposed to external panelists.
- Track samples as they are moved through testing. Ensure communication with other groups regarding sample arrivals as well as sensory test schedules and samples still needed to complete sensory sessions.
- Evaluate samples for expiration dates and proper and safe handling practices.
- Follow master preparation documentation, methods and standard operating procedures and ensure documentation as required

The Alma plant has an opening for General Workers with opportunities for overtime. Successful candidates will work in our food processing production facility located in Alma,KS, and enjoy competitive wages ($19.00/hr) (additional $1/ hr for 2nd and 3rd shifts) along with a comprehensive benefits package. $2000 Retention Bonus!!! Positions are available on 1st (6AM-2:30PM), 2nd (2:15PM-11:30PM), and 3rd (10PM-6AM) shifts. Weekend work is required. Incumbents are responsible for learning a wide variety of jobs and duties across our plant such as: grinding, batching, and stuffing products, operating forklifts, slicing, boxing, and palletizing product, verifying quality and accuracy of products, all while making people safety and food safety the number one priority.
