SUMMARY/OBJECTIVE:
Superintendents are responsible for the success or failure of the project. Their involvement starts when a project is awarded to Megawatt. They are responsible for building out the details of the project schedule, establishing the logistics plan, scheduling subcontractors to start work, working with the safety department to develop the Site-Specific Safety Plan and mobilizing to the jobsite. The superintendent works with the project management team to write scopes of work for subcontractors. After the project is started in the field, they continue to manage it against the schedule and the contract documents. They implement and manage the QA/QC and ensure all work is done correctly and in accordance with the master schedule. They schedule special inspections and final inspections to close out the building permits. They manage the punch list and work with the architect and engineer to receive final completion letters and close the project out.

Collects schedules from subs and incorporates into the master schedule.
Runs a weekly schedule meeting with the subcontractors. Distributes schedule weekly.
Completes daily reports every day with ample photos to show all aspects of work.
Reads and fully understands Drawings, Specifications and the scopes of work for each subcontractor.
Runs a daily foreman's meeting.
Manages site QA/QC program.
Mentor to assistant superintendents and foremen.
Assists the Project Manager in preparing monthly billings.
Reviews monthly budget updates with PM to keep the project within budget.
Prepares and distributes Weekly Field Report.
Hosts pull planning schedule meetings when needed to keep the project on task.
Actively manages punch list and checks off items during the punch list phase.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Able to run very large projects.
Fully understands both the CSA and MEP aspects of base build and fit-out construction.
Extensive background in all types of construction - Data Center, Healthcare, Commercial, higher education, etc.
Is a mentor to Superintendents, Foremen, Assistant Superintendents
Provide training to superintendents.
Understands the pros and cons of different construction elements and can speak from experience in those areas (liquid-cooled vs air-cooled, etc.)
Manages the timely closeout of the project.
Works with the Project Manager, Project Engineer, and Superintendents to close out the project on time.
The point of contact with the client and manage satisfaction with the results of the project.
Works with the architects and engineers to ensure a quality installation.
Manages and drives the Design Built phase of projects.
Actively develops business leads with existing and new contacts.
Is engaged in the construction industry outside of Megawatt activities.
Builds and manages the project team. Is a mature, guiding hand for the team. Addresses HR issues and is someone who people can reach out to with issues.

Key Responsibilities:
Perform preventive maintenance, inspections, and repairs on power generation equipment, including generators, engines, and control systems.
Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, and electronic issues in generator systems.
Conduct load bank testing, system upgrades, and installations as needed.
Ensure compliance with safety standards, regulations, and company protocols.
Document service activities, including detailed reports on maintenance, repairs, and parts used.
Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively with clients to ensure exceptional service delivery.
Respond to emergency service calls and provide on-call support as needed.
Maintain tools, equipment, and service vehicles in excellent working conditions.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent; technical school or vocational training in power generation, electrical, or mechanical systems preferred.
Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Power Generation Technician or in a related field preferred (e.g., diesel mechanic, electrical technician).
Strong knowledge of diesel and natural gas engines, electrical systems, and control panels.
Familiarity with generator brands such as Cummins, Caterpillar, Kohler, or similar.
Proficiency in using diagnostic tools, multimeters, and other testing equipment.
Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; CDL is a plus.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Willingness to travel to various job sites and work flexible hours, including on-call shifts.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to lift 50 pounds and perform physical tasks such as climbing, bending, and working in confined spaces.
Comfortable working in various weather conditions and environments.

Job Description
PURPOSE
Provide technical start-up, checkout and programming for Building Automation and Control Systems. Maintain and grow the “Customer for Life” concept for existing and new customers. Performs related work as required.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The following duties are typical for this job. These are not to be constructed as exclusive or all inclusive. Other duties may be required and assigned.
• Start-up of Microprocessor based control components including DDC controllers, sensors, actuators, transducers, and associated components
• Point-to-point checkout of wiring and components for proper grounding, polarity, communication and power
• Set up and calibration of input and output devices such as temperature sensors, pressure transducers, etc.
• Uploading, downloading, and modification of control software and programs
• Perform BACnet networking functions such as setting up IP addresses, subnet masks, MAC addresses and instance numbers
• Identify and troubleshoot basic HVAC systems
• Map control points into supervisory controller and add alarms and history extensions to supervisory controller points
• Map control points into graphical front end and link points to graphics
• Create Automation System graphics and dashboards
• Understand construction schedules and manage QA/QC checklists and commissioning logs
MINIMUM EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED TO PERFORM ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
• Associates in Electronic, Technology, or Automation related field or equivalent on the job experience
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS
• Valid driver's license
MENTAL AND PHYSICAL COMPETENCIES REQUIRED TO PERFORM ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
• Ability to perform all necessary duties unsupervised
• Knowledge of common Windows Office applications
• Knowledge of Microsoft SQL or other database applications preferred but not required
• Knowledge of Ethernet and serial network communication formats and hardware configurations
• Understanding of basic process controls (i.e. PID control loops, motor control, commissioning of digital and analog measurement devices)
• Excellent interpersonal skills with ability to communicate effectively, both orally and written
