Reefer Mechanic will be responsible for the troubleshooting, repair and maintenance of the Fleet road equipment including tractor, trailer, thermo-king, converter dolly and maintenance vehicles. Schedule: Sunday -Thursday Third Shift ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Troubleshoot, diagnose, rebuild, replace and complete all required repairs on diesel reefer equipment (THERMO KING & CARRIER TRAILER REFRIGERATION SYSTEMS, Reefer Microprocessors, etc.). Perform preventative maintenance within manufacturer standards. Mentor other maintenance shop personnel. Receive road calls, assign third party vendor, and work with business partners on plan of action. Utilize fleet maintenance software system tablet to fully document equipment repair and parts used. Maintain a clean and safe work environment in compliance with workplace safety rules and regulations and government guidelines. Electromechanical Technicians maintain and repair electromechanical drives, sensors and automated machinery while working with maintenance and engineers to install and evaluate electromechanical systems to support the manufacturing process.
