Minimum Qualifications:

Working Conditions & Physical Efforts:
The job is performed in an indoor shop environment. The temperature range can be from 100 degrees in the summer to about 50 degrees in the winter. Most operations may expose employee to some type of disagreeable working conditions (wind, cold, heat, dust, dirt, fumes, noise, vibration, water, or oil). Working conditions may vary with specific work assignments. Exposure to electrical hazards, grease, loud noises, and outside elements occur continually or regularly. Extreme care should be taken to prevent damage to equipment or department personnel in the area of operations especially when performing setups. The job requires safety glasses, hearing protection, and metatarsal safety shoes be worn at all times. The employee must be able to spend the entire work shift on their feet within the shop environment. The incumbent must also be able to wear the required personal protective equipment (PPE) for working in the production facility.
Hazards:
This job requires handling metal objects some of which have sharp edges. Extreme care and awareness should be taken for all production jobs. Below are some common hazards that exist for this particular position. Set up and run of equipment provides the potential for injury through slips, falls, strains, pinch points, tripping hazards, shot blasting equipment, high pressure air nozzles, material handling equipment.

**Working Environment and Physical Efforts:**

The Tapering Operator position is an individual contributor in the Aluminum Operations Department. This person must be a highly driven individual that will work independently or with a Tapering Assistant to produce poles on our Tapering Machine.
Essential Functions
Ability to perform the functions of the job while adhering to the Safety Absolutes.
Ability to independently taper and shape the shaft.
Ability to load the aluminum shafts into the machine for tapering as well as unload the machine by means of carts/cranes.
Knowledge of the tapering machine software to include loading/ editing programs.
Able to move aluminum shafts by means of carts/cranes to work area and loading charge rack when Tapering Assistant is not available.
Finish the tapering process by means of chop saws, pole cutters, and hand tools.
Use hand tools to remove the bell of the shaft and cut hand hole openings from poles.
Responsible for maintaining work area including cleaning the tapering machine following the shift.
Ability to train a Tapering Assistant as a back-up operator.
Perform all tapering machine set-ups and tool changes, run the machine to create quality products within productivity standards, and improve the tapering process with a lean focus.
Ability to wear all required personal protective equipment (PPE) and work both in a non-temperature controlled environment and outdoors.
Other duties as required and/or assigned.

The job is performed in an indoor shop environment. The temperature range can be from 100 degrees in the summer to about 50 degrees in the winter. Working conditions may vary with specific work assignments. Exposure to electrical hazards, grease, loud noises, and outside elements occur continually or regularly. The job requires safety glasses, hearing protection, and metatarsal safety shoes be worn at all times. Inspect to ensure that products meet established quality standards and quantities are correct for each order
Perform final machining, finishing, and assembly operations on aluminum poles
Perform drilling, painting and component installation on aluminum poles
Bundle, crate, box and wrap products to be shipped to protect the finished product from freight damage Load truck with finished product
What it takes
Required Qualifications
High School Diploma or GED
One year experience working in a fast paced manufacturing environment
Ability to accurately perform basic arithmetic calculations
Ability to read and work with prints, drawings and work documents
Ability to accurately take measurements using close tolerance measuring instruments
Acceptable attendance and prior employment record
Highly qualified candidates will also possess:
Familiarity with radial saws, hand tools, overhead cranes and general shop safety
Must be a person of passion and integrity who has the drive to excel and deliver exceptional results

We are seeking to hire a Compressed Air & Gas Treatment Territory Manager to support the Industrial Filtration Platform. This role is responsible for maintaining / increasing sales volume and margin with existing and new accounts within the industrial and distribution channels. Accountable for executing assigned sales goals and sales plans within an designated sales territory. Responsible for securing and maintaining distribution of products and maintaining effective agreements. Actively support the Corporation's Win Strategy. Proactively works with all division management and related support departments to ensure customer service needs are met or exceeded. Represents company at trade shows and other professional activities. Reports to Regional Sales Manager.

* Develops and maintains strong client relationships with OEM customers and distributor accounts while meeting position objectives. Ensures Parker products are specified to maintain and increase revenue by prioritizing the opportunities on an account-by-account basis to obtain optimum sales and margin results.
* Develops and maintains comprehensive technical knowledge of group/divisional products, applications, features, advantages and benefits. Keeps current with internal and external training and development.
* Obtains specifications and approvals at engineering firms, major accounts and/or distributors assigned to develop increased sales opportunities and margins.
* Develops and maintains comprehensive knowledge of competitive products and their activity in the marketplace and provide reports on a regular and/or monthly basis. Keeps management aware of changes that would affect the distribution of Parker products. Participates in the development and implementation of appropriate response strategies.
* Assists the divisions in planning strategy to provide the products and service required for their assigned accounts. Actively supports cross division and other group products with proper referral.
* Provides product training at the distributor and customer levels. Motivates and provides sales direction to the distributors. Assists in the conversion of competitive accounts to Parker.
