He also served as the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Keelan Capital, an early stage investment and strategic advisory firm as well as Chief Technology Officer (CTO) of Brocade Communications Systems, Inc. Prior to Brocade, Stevens co-founded and served as the CEO of Palo Alto Networks, Inc. In addition, he has held senior operating roles at Rhapsody Networks, Atmosphere Networks, Nortel, Bay Networks and SynOptics Communications.

Stevens received his B.S. and M.S. degrees in Electrical Engineering from the University of Virginia.

In this role, he was responsible for the development and implementation of fundamental changes to the way IDS conducts business, including process improvements, infrastructure consolidations and portfolio optimization. Santangelo has also served as CFO of IDS’ Global Integrated Sensors (GIS) business and as Director of Financial Planning and Analysis for Raytheon’s Space and Airborne Systems (SAS) business.
