Forcepoint is looking for a Senior Systems Engineer to join the Digital Infrastructure team in supporting the global corporate infrastructure. This individual is versed with virtualization technologies along with experienced in core system administration.

The candidate will support the existing global Data Center footprint, hybrid cloud solutions, and help build and integrate new systems and services. The candidate has several years of experience and highly skilled in monitoring and troubleshooting systems at an enterprise scale.
Essential Functions

* Create tooling and automation to continuously improve operational reliability of the on-premise and hybrid cloud infrastructure.
* Participate in incident, change, and problem management.
* Automation, writing infrastructure as code
* Implement and maintain a global VMware virtual infrastructure.
* Install, configure, and maintain a Storage Area Network.
* Support a global Active Directory and a Clustered File Server environment.
* Support the O 365 and Exchange environment
* Monitor system health to ensure the alerts are being responded to promptly.
* Monitor and maintain a system backup environment to ensure business continuity.
* Act as technical escalation for problem resolution and troubleshooting.
* Document policies and procedures.
* Support heterogeneous, multi-vendor server hardware, including blade and rack-mounted servers as well as converged infrastructure platforms.
* Maintain Web and Application servers for Production and DR environments.
* Mentor junior Systems Engineers to increase breadth of support abilities across the Digital Infrastructure team.

Education and Experience

* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
* 8+ years of experience as a Systems Engineer\Admin.
* Knowledge of SAN technology, with a minimum of 3+ years' experience.
* Knowledge and experience in the design, implementation and support of VMware's product line, including vSphere, vCloud, Director, View and SRM.
* Working technical knowledge of Microsoft operating systems and services in a multi-site topology, including Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, DFS, IIS and Cluster Services.
* Working knowledge and experience with configuring and managing O365 including, Outlook, SharePoint, One Drive, etc.
* Working technical knowledge of Linux operating systems including RHEL and Ubuntu.
* Experience with multiple enterprise backup strategies, including agent and SAN based backups, snapshots, and file and block level replication.
* Working knowledge of PowerShell or similar scripting language(s).
* Experience monitoring, maintaining and performance tuning Compelling storage arrays.
* Experience supporting a global environment and partnering with a global support team.
* Experience with an enterprise monitoring solution, such as Zabbix, SolarWinds, Nagios, etc.
* Must be able to quickly diagnose system problems and implement solutions to restore functionality

As a Senior Sales Engineer you will use your customer relations and communications skills, coupled with your knowledge of systems engineering, networking and cyber security solutions, to directly support sales engagements & presentations, product demonstrations, proof of concept and pilot projects for Forcepoint's cross domain, insider threat, web, email, and data security solutions and services. This is a pre-sales engineering position where you will be directly involved in supporting sales/account managers to facilitate high-impact deals across a diverse set of industries.

* Utilize your Linux and networking expertise to support and field critical customer driven requirements, enabling secure cross domain data transfer

What will you be doing?

This individual is well versed with private & public cloud technologies along with strong experience in core systems engineering skills. The candidate will partner with existing Forcepoint DevOps resources supporting the world-wide Demo Factory platform to execute the initial build-out, implementation, and on-going maintenance of the G2CI division's Private Cloud Demonstration Platform dedicated to the support G2CI's mission-critical ITAR-controlled solutions. The candidate will also assist in building new capabilities / integrations into the G2CI Demo Factory platform and address G2CI & ITAR-specific architectural requirements of this unique environment. This senior resource has experience with DevOps, CI/CD, and Agile methodologies.
