A Senior Structured Cabling Technician leads the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of structured cabling systems, including fiber optic, copper, and coaxial cables, in commercial, data center, or utility environments. ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Lead and supervise cabling installation teams (internal or subcontractors), provide training, guidance, and performance feedback; conduct weekly meetings and escalate issues to project managers as needed.
· Plan, coordinate, and execute cabling projects, including site surveys, cable pulling, termination, splicing, testing, and certification using tools like fusion splicers and cable testers.
· Perform job site inspections to verify work meets safety standards, customer expectations, and project specifications; manage material delivery, equipment, and inventory.
· Troubleshoot and diagnose complex cabling issues in network infrastructure, ensuring optimal performance for data centers, low-voltage systems, and telecommunications setups.

· Collaborate with stakeholders, including project managers, engineers, and clients, to develop cable plans, ensure compliance with regulations, and address on-site concerns.

EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION:

· Technical Knowledge: In-depth understanding of cabling standards, fiber optics, copper/coaxial systems, and tools; ability to read blueprints and perform site surveys.

Responsible for producing floor plans, elevations, section cuts, and schedules in AutoCAD and Revit. You will also be tasked with maintaining site record drawings and ensuring that your work aligns with discipline-specific and company CAD/BIM standards.

Required Qualifications

We are hiring for a Field Installation & Service Technician to provide client installation and post-installation service of our digital signage solutions, as well as providing on-site support services in a break/fix capacity. This includes mounting of commercial grade displays and media players in wide variety of configurations, physical network installation and troubleshooting at client sites, and troubleshooting of any issues that occur while provisioning new site or repairing existing site solution. This position requires professional behavior and interaction with all members of client team and

support services as well as the installation work provided. Our reputation depends on a high standard of workmanship. There will be substantial travel via driving and/or flying required that may come with very short notice. Punctuality and reliability are essential needs of the position.
Principal Accountabilities:

Ability to work with industry standard display technologies (displays, video connections, network connections)
Ability to work with a team or individually
Ability to clearly articulate to support team members issues encountered onsite and what was done to resolve them
Ability to follow installation documentation.
Ability to come up with solutions to unforeseen problems as work is done and provide feedback to project stakeholders regarding those solutions.
Additional duties may be assigned, as needed.
Qualifications
High School diploma or equivalent
Some construction or digital signage installation experience a plus
Ability to communicate and interface with customers in a professional manner
Some experience dealing with construction general contractors
Ability to travel and work remotely from project sites as necessary
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work within documentation applications. (Word, Excel, email, other cloud based solutions)
Able to work on problems of diverse scope where analysis of data requires evaluation of identifiable factors.
Demonstrates good judgment in selecting methods and techniques for obtaining solutions.
Ability to interact professionally with senior internal and external personnel
Ability to be dispatched to a customer site with relatively short notice (24-48 hours)

Job Description
The Residential Installer is responsible for installing, testing, repairing, and servicing electrical and electromechanical equipment in customer's premises and signal receiving centers. The Installer performs associated duties in the field and shop, delivers supplies and maintains pertinent records as required.
Duties and Responsibilities of Residential Installer
Installs, dismantles, and reconstructs equipment required by customer or ADT order.
Makes connections and required adjustments as directed; test operation of all components of each system to the signal-receiving center to properly establish service.
Evaluates information furnished for the job, delivered materials, layout of customer's premises and practical routes for cable, conduit and/or wiring.
Promptly reports defective material or equipment, inaccuracies or omissions in job information that may result in inadequate protection for customer use.
Follows safety practices to safeguard against injury and damage to property.
Safeguards against loss of unused materials, ladders, and tools on a job site or office location.
Cleans up debris from installation, patches drill holes, and returns unused materials.
Performs other duties as required.
Qualifications
High School degree or equivalent mandatory.
Electronic Trade School training desired
2 years maintenance/installation experience
Core Competencies
Excellent communications skills required.
