The Financial Services Representative/Counselor Provides administrative effectiveness and financial aid services, through an emphasis on individual attention to students and high-quality customer service. This position will require some evening and weekend hours, as well as travel to other Fordham University campuses.
Essential Functions
Advises families and students on how to pay for a university education, including all sources of assistance and the delivery system for financial aid. Takes responsibility for the marketing and formulation of individual payment plans, i.e. monthly payment plans and alternative loan options. Works with enrolled students to monitor progress through the payment process. Serves in all areas of financial services and financial aid administration, including but not limited to the counseling of students and parents, processing of applications, packaging, and facilitating the use of financing options. Administers specified financial services procedures and programs and supports compliance with procedures for all programs
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in customer-oriented or consumer credit financing. Knowledge of financial aid software

Applications are invited for a tenure-track position in Ecology or Evolutionary Biology at the Assistant Professor level in the Department of Biological Sciences at Fordham's Rose Hill Campus in the Bronx, New York, beginning Fall 2026.
The applicant will conduct research in ecology, evolutionary biology, or the intersection of these fields in an area that complements the existing strengths of the department. Applicants will contribute to graduate and undergraduate teaching and research mentoring.
We offer undergraduate biology majors and non-majors courses, in connection with the Environmental Sciences program, MS and PhD graduate programs in Biology, and a graduate Conservation Certificate.
We have research facilities at the Rose Hill campus in the Bronx and at the Louis Calder Center Biological Field Station, and are especially interested in recruiting a colleague whose research program could include research, training, and mentoring activities at the station.
Members of the Department collaborate with colleagues and programs at institutions including the neighboring New York Botanical Garden (NYBG) and the Wildlife Conservation Society (WCS)/ Bronx Zoo, and the American Museum of Natural History. We also work with state and local agencies. Fordham is part of the Bronx Science Consortium, which includes Albert Einstein College of Medicine, Montefiore Health System, the NYBG, and the WCS.
Applicants are required to have a Ph.D. in a life science or related field, and should have postdoctoral or equivalent experience and a record of published work. The successful candidates will be expected to supervise an independent research program that will attract extramural funding, provide research opportunities and mentoring for graduate and undergraduate students and offer professional service to the Department and University.

Reporting to the Director of Infrastructure Services, the Assistant Director, Infrastructure Operations, assists the Director with implementation, maintenance, support, and monitoring of all aspects of the University data center facilities and communications closets, and supports operations and administration of voice and data network components located on all campus locations. This position is responsible for identification and mitigation of single points of failure, process improvements, automation opportunities, and other factors that increase the availability and resiliency of the network. Additionally, this position analyzes network feedback and recommends upgrades and changes. This position may require occasional evening, weekend, and holiday hours.
Essential Functions
Ensures the network is in a good operational state. Uses various enterprise monitoring tools to review anomalies and alerts related to the enterprise network, and ensures final integration of network elements into monitoring systems. Provides first-level guidance/direction to the network operations team, network engineers, consultants, and other IT staff members and ensures that tickets are resolved in a timely manner. Improves the wired and wireless network by analyzing client and system feedback. Ensures all network hardware is inventoried and has the latest operational software. Responds to internal/external requests regarding network expansion and additional services. Works with team members and users to create a complete package of documentation and training materials. Works with team members to analyze the nature of user problem reports and requests and develop the most appropriate solution.
