The Opportunity:
Barminco Mining Services Canada Ltd. has an exciting opportunity for a Maintenance Foreman to join our team at a project location 65 miles outside of Elko, Nevada. Reporting to the Project Manager, the successful candidate will provide supervision and a safe working environment for the on-site maintenance team. They will ensure all maintenance activities are carried out safely, efficiently and align with company procedures & standards.

Key Responsibilities:
Maintenance Department performance including safety, quality, and equipment performance against Barminco standards.
Develop and maintain a positive safety, quality, and performance culture within the maintenance department consistent with the purpose, ambition, and core values of Barminco.
Maintain and monitor component replacements, rebuilds and inventory adjustments as required.

Be the designated Barminco company representative for all maintenance related issues at a site level, including equipment availability, safety performance, people management and costs.
Ensure that all maintenance department and equipment information, data and correspondence is managed professionally, effectively and in accordance with Barminco management systems.
Provide leadership and career development support for employees who report to the site maintenance dept leadership.
Provide support to the Maintenance Leadership Team and fellow Maintenance Superintendents through effective sharing of knowledge, information, data, and resources as and when appropriate.

Qualifications:
A minimum of at least 10 years Underground Mining Experience, specifically within the high-speed, high production environment
Knowledge of Barminco operations, understanding of Barminco's Availability and Utilization KPI's for high-speed development equipment, ensure repair solutions and proper preventative maintenance cycles required are adhered to in line with Barminco maintenance systems and procedures.
Comprehension of equipment operating systems to reduce down-time and productivity loses.
Strong interpersonal, management and communication skills.
Previous experience working as a Maintenance Foreman or Supervisor within an underground mining environment and involvement with earthmoving machinery including makes such as Sandvik, Normet and Volvo.
Strong credibility working with and influencing a front-line operational workforce.
Strong understanding of capability in a safety culture, leadership concepts and practical application of risk assessments, hazard identification and controls; and incident management and investigation

Work Conditions:

Job Description
The Residential Site Supervisor (RSS) is responsible for supervising, training and providing technical guidance to assigned Supported Living Specialists (SLS's) and participants. The Residential Site Supervisor provides direct support for participants in addition to providing coaching for the Supported Living Specialist. Other duties include working closely with the residential administration in managing the day-to-day requirements, providing quality supports in a residential setting, covering Supported Living Specialists on scheduled absences, and identifying staff during emergency fill situations. Maintains up to date knowledge of residential trends, personal care issues, medications, health and safety issues, waiver services, etc.
TASKS, DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Protect, advocate for and ensure all rights of individuals participating in FRA programs.
2. Contribute to the ongoing planning of services to include the preparation of Support Plans (SP's) and the attendance of participant staffing.
3. Supervises and ensures implementation of training programs specified in participant's PSPs. Encourages development of independent living skills for participants.
Assist Supported Living Specialists in supporting participants in making decisions that will result in their being viewed by others as valued members of the community.
Evaluate the level of support needed for each participant and recommends courses of action to Supported Living Specialists.
6. Assists with management of current participant's inventory lists.
7. Monitor and coordinate participant health needs to include routine and emergency medical appointments, medication acquisition and monitoring in compliance with agency procedures, as well as, state and federal requirements.
8. Assists Supported Living Specialists in providing appropriate assistance with personal hygiene to include but not limited to bathing, toileting and dressing.
9. Attend training seminars, in-service trainings and staff meetings. Participate as required, in development and implementation of training, etc.
10. Assist in preparing nutritional menus and develops shopping lists.
11. Maintain professional working relationship with co-workers, supervisors, and key personnel.
Monitors temperature, blood pressure, weight, mental status, intake/output, medical
orders, hydration, and general health of participants.
14. Prepares shift schedules and coordinates shift transitions.
Identifies and coordinates facility/maintenance concerns, to include but not limited to completing facility safety checklists and identifying potential safety hazards.
16. Manages accurate and timely submission of documentation to include, but not limited to medication logs, case noting, progress noting, financial transactions, house paperwork, etc.
17. Maintain current participant records and confidentiality.
18. Assists in compilation and maintenance of participant's current health log and medical history.
19. Assists with new participant intake via assessments of independent living skills.
Provides mentoring, coaching, and supervision for Supported Living Specialists.
Ensures all participants are properly dressed and clothes are in good repair.
Completes Critical Incidents Reports (CIR's) in accordance with agency procedures, as well as state and federal requirements.
Coordinates with fleet services to ensure transportation requirements are available and properly maintained.
Monitors home/grounds keeping and maintains agency standards.
Monitors participant financial accounts in regard to spending usage on a regular basis.
Manages home budget for labor, equipment, supplies, and food. Identifies/directs purchases for program equipment and supplies in accordance with Residential Procedures.
Maintains and enforces up-to-date familiarity with state/federal compliance regulations.
Participates in an on-call rotation.
Performs hiring, performance counseling, performance reviews, disciplinary actions, reviews staff time sheets, grievances, and other personnel actions.
Monitors medication administration and reviews associated documentation.
Maintains 24-Hour availability for assigned home (Monday through Friday each week).
Responsible for maintaining training compliance in accordance with FRA policies and procedures, state and federal regulations.
Monitors staff training compliance, case note documentation and other staff requirements using an electronic medical record (EMR).
Monitors the input of participant information and case notes into electronic medical record, in accordance with agency procedures, state and federal requirements.
Monitors staffing scheduling to include ADP clock-ins and clock-outs and updating schedules to reflect changes.
Performs other support services and duties, as assigned.
MINIMUM EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
Bachelor's degree preferred in one of the following fields: Rehabilitation, Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, Special Education, or other related Social Science. Experience and/or specialized education may substitute for degree requirements on a year for year basis.
One Year experience (full-time, paid or unpaid) or One Year of training providing direct care to human service recipients.
2 Years Minimum supervisory experience in a residential setting preferred.
Must meet agency insurance criteria for operating agency and personal vehicles on agency business (21 y/o and licensed 3 years).
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIRED:
Demonstrate a personal commitment to the development and implementation of a least restrictive residential services environment for participants. Must be skilled in the implementation and documentation of direct participant training. Demonstrate mentorship skills.
