ESSENTIAL DUTIES * Coordinates activities with administrators, field supervisors, the public, and co-workers, and performs work within his/her trade certification when required. * Initiates discussions and seeks solutions on a regular basis concerning work-related issues such as team building, and personal conflicts. * Communicates with employees, MCC's workplace expectations, to include; advising, directing, and issuing of verbal or written warnings to employees concerning professional performance, with Division Manager approval. * Works independently, and as required travels to construction sites to meet project-based needs * Reviews work requests to determine personnel requirements, procures materials necessary, ensures tools and equipment are available, and adheres the schedule provided by the estimator/project manager. * Provides continuous improvement and develops new divisional procedures/processes with Divisional Manager approval. * Responds effectively to inquiries from the customer. * Ensures that all timecards for the employees assigned to him/her are accurate and submitted to payroll within specified timelines. * Obtains weekly cost reports and other administrative requirements from the customer within specified timelines. * Responsible for maintaining a clean work area, tools, and equipment * Adheres and leads others in all OSHA, customer, MCC, and site-specific safety procedures. * Obtain permits when required * Operate heavy equipment and machinery in the performance of the essential duties * Work with and around hazardous materials, as well as at heights and in confined spaces in the performance of these essential duties * Drive a vehicle to various jobsites throughout working hours a.
