Responsibilities of the position include:
* Direct and supervise a trade crew on a consistent basis and frequently direct over 30 employees and supervise multiple trades.
* Communicate staffing requirements to Production Manager.
* Participate in the pre-planning process in preparation for goals meetings.
* Ensure the job is properly staffed.
* Calculate unit costs based on quantity of material installed, hours worked, and labor dollars and take appropriate action to achieve goals.
* Enter daily time and production through E&K Austin lane entry.
* Create job specific QA tasks identified during job start process.
* Perform routine QA inspections and create report through Go Canvas App.
* Generate material orders by specific areas.
* Manage job cost through review and analyzation of job cost monitoring report.
* Monthly forecasting of job cost.
* Management of Subcontractors.
* Ensure that all materials, tools, equipment, subcontractor, and general contractor are scheduled daily and are on site in a timely manner.
* Attend and participate in all required company training programs.
* Attend all job site meetings whenever scheduled.
* Other duties as assigned.
Requirements for the position include:
* Completed 30hr OSHA Training.
* Completed Field Management Training
* Ability to effectively manage crews of 30+ employees.
* Knowledge and ability to supervise the use of all tools, material, equipment, and personnel.
* Knowledge of mathematics, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, fraction, and decimals.
* Advanced Knowledge of Bluebeam, OST, and Quick bid.
* Skill in verbal and written communication, including the ability to actively listen and express oneself clearly.
* Ability to work on ladders, scaffolds, and/or stilts.
* Ability to read detailed (blueprint) plans and specifications and comply with building codes.
* Excellent communication skills.
