Position Summary:
We are looking for an experienced Construction Foreman to join our growing team. The Foreman is responsible for leading the jobsite and crew to ensure the job is completed safely, accurately and on time.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities include:
Take instructions for daily tasks from the Superintendent.
Operate heavy equipment such as excavators, loaders, and forklifts.
Operate auger boring equipment, experience operating TBM, MTBM and Pipe Ram is considered a plus.
Lead Safety and Toolbox meetings with crew
Ensure all work plans and JHAs are covered before tasks are started.
Complete daily log of work performed.
Inspect work progress, equipment, and construction sites to ensure specifications are met.
Supervise crew members.
Perform safety inspections of work area.
Train personnel as needed.
Out-of-State travel may be required up to 30%.
The majority of UITs work is in the Colorado Front Range area.
Per diem starting after 75 miles from the Lakewood office.
Skills and Specifications:
Minimum 5 years experience in utility construction.
Ability to take direction from supervision.
Experience with Construction survey
Welding experience preferred.
OSHA training is preferred.
Must have a valid drivers license, good driving record and reliable transportation.
Recognize hazards and safety risks.

Key Responsibilities:

Supervise and coordinate all on site field operations of RK Mechanical, Inc. and associated sub-contractors. Adhere to project schedule and orchestrate timely project completion within budgeted costs.
Role Responsibilities
Work within the perimeters of the project budget.
Ensure quality craftsmanship on all mechanical system installations.
Develop ‘Master Plan' approach for project.
Execute, supervise and maintain CPMI.
Schedule daily and weekly scope of work activities.
Material, tool, and equipment requisitions.
Maintain proper journeyman to apprentice ratio.
Code compliance.
Conflict resolution.
Assist Corporate Safety Managers as requested.
Customer satisfaction and public relations liaison.
Indirect supervision.
Performs technical responsibilities.
Contributes to the development and improvement of concepts, techniques and procedures.
Coordinates own tasks with a specific range of responsibilities under established procedures.
Contributes to a team under general supervision of an experienced professional or manager.
Skilled specialist or recent college/university graduate.
Role specific skills and experience required.
Requires judgment or initiative in resolving issues and making recommendations.
Supervision and guidance of crews.
Qualifications
Comply with all company policies and procedures.

RK Mechanical employees and subcontractors are required to implement and maintain all safety and health systems practices including the training requirements of RK Mechanical Orientation, site specific orientation, CPR/First Aid/AED/Bloodborne Pathogens, Hazard Identification and Reporting, and OSHA 30.
Project Foreman Plumbing require a minimum of Journeyman Plumbers License.
Minimum Physical Requirements and Accountability
Work outside, inside, and in dusty, noisy and hazardous areas.
Work in high places, tight places, confined spaces and/or other adverse locations.
Climb, balance, squat, kneel and crouch.
Work in all types of weather.
Must have working knowledge of all trade materials and tools.
Ability to lift and carry 36 to 50 lbs. occasionally, and/or 22 to 30 pounds of force frequently, and/or greater than negligible up to 11 to 15 pounds of force constantly to move objects.
