Tasks included inventory control, tool management, and hazardous material control and management. We offer an opportunity to put your experience in Wireless Construction to good use, working in a fast-paced and challenging environment for one of the fastest-growing construction companies in the U.S. Key Responsibilities Leading a crew of 3-4 civil technicians; Interpret construction drawings, blueprints, and job orders as needed; Ensure that construction equipment is correctly operated and maintained; Ensure the job is completed on time and within the budget; Hire, train, and support new crew members; Understand and adhere to all digging laws; overall team captain; Record all crew performance and perform daily/weekly reports. Skills, Knowledge and Expertise At least 3-5 years of Civil Construction experience; At least 1 year of Civil Foreman or similar role experience; Experience in concrete work and driving heavy machinery such as excavators, loaders, etc.; Ability to travel for work to different job sites within the region; Ability to interpret and understand the scope of work for Civil/Electrical projects; Good understanding of basic electrical codes/standards in the wireless industry; A valid, unrestricted Driver's License; Electrical license/certifications are a plus. In this role, the Carpenter Foreman will oversee production, quality, and safety under the direction of the Assistant Superintendent and Superintendent. The Foreman will play an essential role in ensuring the successful completion of all work by providing hands-on support and guidance to the team. This includes assisting in training apprentices, journeymen, and other field personnel to ensure all tasks are performed safely and with high quality.Primary Responsibilities Understands how the Carpenter interacts with a Laborer during the tank building process and can direct the work as required. Establishes crews, assigns responsibilities and follows through on assigned work to meet the project timeline. Reads and interprets tank drawings and construction information package to ensure work is performed according to specifications. Inventories material upon delivery to ensure components comply with the contract drawings prior to signature. Provide coaching and training while motivating the team to produce quality work and ensure all safety standards are met with all individuals on the project. Maintain all certifications in compliance with DN Tanks Safety & Equipment Programs. Performs all jobsite layout utilizing survey equipment under direction of the Superintendent. Supports the training program by working closely with other traveling tank builders and utilizing all resources available in DN University. Qualifications Operate and maintain DN Tanks tools and equipment. Ability to travel to project sites throughout the United States at the direction of the Field Operations Manager. Ability to climb and perform tasks at heights on steel/wood framework, stairs, ladders, shoring, and scaffolds. Ability to wear personal protective equipment including but not limited to; steel toed shoes, gloves, safety glasses, hearing protection, hardhat, vest, etc. Ability to complete DN Tanks crane certification.
