Coordinate with concrete crews prior to pours to ensure readiness.
Qualifications

POSITION OUTLINE:
The Asphalt Plant Foreman will be responsible for overseeing and managing asphalt plant operations on our heavy civil construction projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in paving, excellent leadership skills, and a commitment to safety and quality.
Responsibilities include:
Supervise and coordinate daily asphalt paving operations, ensuring compliance with project specifications and safety regulations.
Lead and manage a crew of operators, laborers, and truck drivers to maximize productivity and efficiency.
Plan and schedule work activities, including material deliveries, equipment usage, and manpower allocation.
Ensure proper installation and compaction of asphalt to meet quality control standards.
Conduct safety meetings and enforce safety protocols to prevent accidents and ensure a safe work environment.
Monitor and inspect work progress, identifying and addressing any issues promptly.
Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and inspectors to ensure project success.
Maintain records of daily production, materials used, and crew performance.
Operate heavy equipment when necessary to support the crew.
Qualifications
Qualifications:
Minimum 5+ years of experience in asphalt paving, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
Extensive knowledge of asphalt paving techniques, materials, and equipment.
