This position oversees the Line team and works with other personnel from various departments. **Pay Rate:** $52.00 - $58.00 per hour ***** There is no per diem or housing provided for this role or the Overhead Distribution crew; must be local.** Responsibilities + Obtain all the necessary materials for the job, and ensure all permits and licenses are in place. + Oversee work related to each project and assume full responsibility for its quality and timeliness. + Compliance with proper safety standards, procedures, and work practices according to MasTec or the customer, whichever standard is higher. + Facilitate daily toolbox talks and weekly safety inspections. Disseminates information and ensures understanding of safety briefings. + Perform aerial tasks, such as new cable installs, pole transfers, strand building, cable hanging, and lashing. This is only allowed if no critical work is being performed that the Foreman is not needed as a Qualified observer. + Place overhead electrical cables. + Connect wires and cables to terminals and attach/detach various kinds of hardware to wires, cables, buildings, or poles. + Coordinate and supervise daily tasks for crew members related to digging and placing product. + Perform construction work, such as digging holes, placing cable, air pipe, and inner duct work in various types of conduit systems and open excavations. + Climb utility poles and/or use aerial lift truck to place cables on poles per system design. + Drive, haul, and/or operate equipment to/from job sites to assist crews in completion of work. + Train new hires and trainees to learn the trade. Work trucks and fuel will be provided by Bone Dry. Our pay structure is commission based, where you will earn a percentage of the projects you complete. Duties and Responsibilities * Ensure necessary repairs for homeowners are completed as described in the scope of work. * Help to supervise projects involving subcontractors and be the main point of contact for the customer during the project. * Communicate with homeowners during projects, start to finish. * Be on call for after-hours emergency calls if on rotation. * Prepare and collect invoices once the job is complete. * Look for other necessary repairs, i.e., roofing, gutters, windows, etc. * Follow all safety procedures. Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities: Maintain company standards in all interactions, including but not limited to, interactions with clients and personnel. Assist managers in conducting morning safety meetings. Ensure daily safety inspections of equipment, vehicles, and job site. Complete daily paperwork, including but not limited to, employee timesheets, recording of daily mileage, numbers of vehicles and equipment used, and billing sheets for any extra billable work. Perform landscape and street maintenance duties, including but not limited to, pruning, planting, and mowing. Initiate repair of any malfunctioning or unsafe equipment. Communicate with Supervisor on topics such as, but not limited to, crew members, equipment issues, and job related concerns. Qualifications Knowledge, Skills and Experience: General knowledge of landscape maintenance and landscape construction. Supervisor experience; 3+ year managing crews. Ability to pass driving requirements. Strong conflict resolution skills. Position Summary Provide comprehensive onsite practical and technical direction pertaining to contract scope of work.
