EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE High school diploma or equivalent and eight years experience in the maintenance of rail track systems, and/or other related structures. Two years of maintenance experience must have been in a supervisory capacity. Must be knowledgeable in Track Standards and able to identify measure and rate track exceptions as noted in the Federal Railroad Administration and MARTA's Track Safety Standards. Must be able to prescribe remedial action based upon the Track Safety Standards, prescribe and supervise repairs as required. Excellent verbal and written communications skills are required.
