The Foreman determines priorities for work to be done, sometimes on their own initiative and authority, but more often based on needs communicated by management. Job Duties: Heavy equipment operation - Track hoe, backhoe, (ability to install sheet piling a plus), rental equipment and materials scheduling and call off. Direct and run the project. Communicate to the Installation Manager any specific requirements for completing the project in a safe, timely, and profitable manner. Ability to read and understand applicable plans and specifications, environmental regulations, fire and building codes that must be enforced on the site. DN Tanks is seeking a skilled Carpenter Foreman to join our craft labor team. In this role, you will oversee production, quality, and safety under the direction of the Assistant Superintendent and Superintendent. As a foreman, you will play an essential role in ensuring the successful completion of all work by providing hands-on support and guidance to the team. This includes assisting in training apprentices, journeymen, and other field personnel to ensure all tasks are performed safely and with high quality.Primary Responsibilities Understands how the Carpenter interacts with a Laborer during the tank building process and can direct the work as required. Establishes crews, assigns responsibilities and follows through on assigned work to meet the project timeline. Reads and interprets tank drawings and construction information package to ensure work is performed according to specifications. Inventories material upon delivery to ensure components comply with the contract drawings prior to signature.
