Our Construction Crew Foreman (CF) will create a team that constructs quality projects that are profitable and provides a positive construction experience for the customer.
Salary is $32.00 to $34.75 per hour based on experience and CDL. Plus bonus potential.
Construction Crew Foreman Responsibilities:
Foreman provides professional leadership by creating a safe, organized work environment that is productive and enjoyable and treats all employees and customers with dignity and respect
Ensure crew members, including new hires, are fully trained and follow all safety and construction procedures
Foreman coordinates efforts with the Area Crew Supervisor for continuous crew training and re-training
Construction Procedure Manual and Training Manual and Best Building Practices
Communicate with the customer on all contractual aspects of the project
Organize specific jobs for the crew members in a way which provides opportunities for success
Utilize the unique skills and contributions of each for training and growth
Maximize the overall crew efficiency
Bring repairs and projects in on time and within budget with Morton quality
Foreman leads by personal example and requires cooperation by all crew employees in timely starts and stops
Daily planning; the CF will
Review daily assignments for each crew employee
State the expected and acceptable progress for the day
Review safety and training items and discuss overall job performance
Provide Project Management to include plan reading, scheduling coordinating suppliers and subcontractors and project completion
Take an active role in interviewing, hiring, and integrating new employees into the Morton Buildings team
Provide recommendations for promotions, demotions and wage adjustments
Understand and enforce all company policies and procedures
Safety, Construction and Corporate
Complete all required paperwork
Accurate reporting of time, DOT driver's log, vehicle mileage report and change orders
Qualifications
Minimum of 3 years leadership in management in the building construction industry
Applicant must hold a valid class A CDL license
Standard weight lifting requirements - 50 pounds, with occasional lifting up to 100 pounds
Must be able to operate construction hand tools and other specialized equipment safely, efficiently and effectively
Ability to work in a physically demanding environment and at various heights
Ability to adapt to a flexible work schedule and work in various type of weather
Ability to produce Quality work
Ability to work in an efficient manner
Good communication skills-both verbal and written
Established organizational and planning skills
Ability to measure human productivity and improve effectiveness

The Rides Maintenance Foreman is responsible for preventive and corrective maintenance for all designated rides and providing day to day leadership to rides maintenance technicians. Summary of Essential Functions and Responsibilities
* Ensures the safety of all amusement rides and attractions
* Ensure all work conforms to all applicable rules, regulations and codes
* Review and respond to tasks in the Work Order System
* Implement and monitor compliance with the Dollywood Company Safety Program and procedures
* Ensure training of new and returning hosts, resulting in understanding and compliance to host safety responsibilities and the Dollywood Company Safety Program
* Timely assessment and response to issues relating to employee morale
* Recognize and resolve conflicts in a timely manner
* Ensure a positive working relationship with our customers (the park operating teams), other support teams and Guests
* Monitor operations and resolve problems as Rides Maintenance person in charge
* Encourages and promotes teamwork
* Responsible for preventive and corrective maintenance for individual or groups of attractions rides and other equipment typically utilized in theme park attractions, including but not limited to troubleshooting and repair of mechanical systems, animation and special effects
* Inspections include testing, verification and/or calibration of applicable mechanical systems
* Respond to downtime, repair and ride recovery issues
* Input in logbooks: completion of inspections, corrective action and/or repairs made, and lists applicable parts used
* Support Ride Maintenance Technicians I, II and III on modifications to ride vehicles or show equipment
* Keep all records up to date and current in an accessible, organized fashion. (i.e. logbooks, inspection forms, etc.)
* Ensure that the ride is clean and visually in compliance with manufacturer's specifications, Guest and Dollywood Company expectations
* Direct the day-to-day actions of Ride Maintenance Technicians I, II and III

Education and Experience Required
* Must be at least 18 years of age.
* High School Diploma or equivalent is required
* Associate's degree (AA) or equivalent from two-year College or technical school is preferred but not required
* Five (5) or more years combined educational and work experience in troubleshooting and repair of complex electro-mechanical systems as well as hydraulic and pneumatic systems is preferred
* 5 years' experience as a Ride Maintenance Technician in the Theme Park Industry preferred
* A certificate in National Association of Amusement Ride Safety Officials (NAARSO) or an
Amusement Industry Manufacturers and Suppliers International (AIMS) preferred
* Working knowledge of the proper utilization and care of hand and power tools and maintenance equipment
* Valid driver's license and proof of auto liability insurance for use of company vehicles
* Ability to read/write, comprehend instructions and communicate in English
* Must successfully complete pre-employment drug test and background check
* Must successfully pass the Ride Maintenance Technician III test

In this position, you will be tasked to lead, coordinate and manage the construction and installation of equipment in accordance with federal, state and company policies and regulations. Communication and daily interaction with customers, vendors, sub-contractors, local and state regulatory agencies is required. Crew foreman will be detailed oriented, keeping an eye out for any safety issues, bringing any issues to the attention of his superiors, while still striving to complete the project on time.
NOTE: This role involves TRAVEL - the majority of the work will be performed out of town at various job sites. Please ensure you are comfortable with traveling a majority of the time.
Essential Job Functions:
Certification and Training from Petroleum Equipment Manufacturer's a plus (we will provide all necessary training)
Valid Driver's License and good driving record
Experience with Petroleum Construction is a MUST! (I.E. Have you built gas stations before?)
