Build and maintain relationships with customers, inspectors and other trades. An active or ability to obtain within 90 days a Mechanical (HVAC) or Plumbing license. Proficient knowledge of the International Plumbing Code (IPC), local codes and construction safety requirements. A Southland Holdings company is currently accepting resumes for an experienced Pipe Foreman for our large heavy civil project located in Tampa, FL. Responsibilities: * Foreman will be expected to run main line machine for the installation of a pipe. * Provide overall leadership and direct the activities of field crew employees. Work with field employees to increase productivity * Oversees, instructs, and participates in the installation and repair of water mains, fire hydrants, sanitary sewer lines, etc. * Perform any required testing for installed systems * Responsible for crew performance in meeting quality and safety standards * Fill out daily reports including crew member's hours , equipment hours, appropriate cost codes, and production quantities * Communicate effectively with Project Superintendent and Project Managers * Participate in safety-related training programs to increase skill set and knowledge base. * Perform jobsite quality control checks.
