A Southland Holdings company is currently accepting resumes for an experienced Pipe Foreman for our large heavy civil project located in Tampa, FL. Responsibilities:
Foreman will be expected to run main line machine for the installation of a pipe.
Provide overall leadership and direct the activities of field crew employees. Work with field employees to increase productivity
Oversees, instructs, and participates in the installation and repair of water mains, fire hydrants, sanitary sewer lines, etc.
Perform any required testing for installed systems
Responsible for crew performance in meeting quality and safety standards
Fill out daily reports including crew member's hours , equipment hours, appropriate cost codes, and production quantities
Communicate effectively with Project Superintendent and Project Managers
Participate in safety-related training programs to increase skill set and knowledge base.
Perform jobsite quality control checks.
Qualifications:
At least 5 years of Water & Sewer Utility experience
At least 2 years of Utility Foreman experience
Experience in large diameter storm drains, water main, dewatering, well point system.
FDOT experience preferred but not required
Valid Driver's License
Extensive knowledge of the tools and equipment involved in utility work - such as excavators, trench boxes, pumps, backhoes, bobcats, loaders, etc.
Ability to understand and interpret construction drawings and specs
Ability to plan, organize, direct, and evaluate crew members' work
Certifications:
OSHA Safety Course Certification (30 hour)
CPR Certification
