The Shift Foreman is responsible for planning, overseeing, and performing general facility and building maintenance work at HBLR stations, shops, buildings, and facilities. You will repair, install, test, and maintain plumbing, heating, cooling, and electrical systems. Perform general carpentry, masonry, and electrical systems, operate vehicles, and keep maintenance records. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Plan workforce activities and oversee compliance of repairs, maintenance, and testing. Perform general facility and building maintenance work at HBLRTS stations, shops, buildings, and facilities. Ensure all activities are recorded in the asset management system. Support coordination for facilities third parties or contractors. Capable of using hand and power tools. Repair, test, and maintain several facility equipment and systems. General carpentry, masonry, flooring, painting, etc. May work as a member of a crew or independently. May work under the direction of a supervisor or Foreman. Ability to compute ratios, rates, and percentages and able to draw and interpret graphs and tabular data sets. Reasoning Ability Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form. Certificates, Licenses, Registrations Must successfully complete Light Rail operations training programs and recertification annually. Possession of a valid driver's license and any other certificates, licenses, and registrations as required by law to perform the specified functions. Must be certified in CPR/AED.
