Job Description: Low Voltage Cabling Foreman - Data Center Fit-Out The Low Voltage Cabling Foreman is responsible for leading and overseeing all structured cabling and low-voltage installation activities during a data center fit-out project. This includes supervising field technicians, organizing daily work schedules, ensuring quality and safety compliance, managing inventory and equipment staging, coordinating with other trades, and ensuring projects are completed on time and according to specifications. Key Responsibilities Leadership & Supervision Lead a team of low-voltage technicians performing copper and fiber installations, terminations, testing, and data center build-outs. Assign daily tasks, monitor progress, and ensure the crew adheres to project schedules and installation standards. Quality Assurance & Technical Oversight Inspect and verify that all copper and fiber terminations, cable routing, labeling, and pathway installations meet TIA/EIA, BICSI, NEC, and client-specific standards. Troubleshoot escalated technical issues, test failures, or installation conflicts. Review and sign off on test results, as-built documentation, and closeout materials. Ensure proper cable management, routing practices, and data center cleanliness. Inventory, Material Handling & Equipment Staging Oversee receiving, inventory tracking, and organization of materials, hardware, cables, and consumables. Manage material forecasts and communicate shortages or procurement needs to the Project Manager or warehouse team. Supervise staging of racks, patch panels, cabinets, pre-terminated assemblies, and equipment prior to installation. Ensure tools, lifts, testers, and equipment are maintained and accounted for. Coordination with Other Trades & Stakeholders Work closely with project managers, general contractors, electricians, HVAC teams, and network engineers to align installation sequences and resolve conflicts. Participate in coordination meetings, site walks, and client updates. Maintain professional communication and represent the low-voltage team on-site. Safety & Compliance Enforce all jobsite safety rules, OSHA regulations, data center access protocols, and PPE requirements. Ensure all crew members follow safe work practices when working on ladders, lifts, overhead pathways, and underfloor environments. Complete safety logs, incident reports, and risk assessments as required. Qualifications & Skills Required 4-7+ years of structured cabling or low-voltage installation experience, including data center environments. Prior experience as a Lead Technician or Foreman supervising crews. Strong knowledge of copper/fiber termination, testing, and certification tools (Fluke DSX, OTDR, fiber inspection equipment). Ability to read, interpret, and implement structured cabling drawings, rack elevations, and MOP/SOP documentation. Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills. Experience with inventory control, equipment staging, and materials management. Preferred BICSI Technician (TECH) or higher (such as RCDD is a plus). OSHA 10/30 or equivalent safety certification. Be sure each repair is coded correctly. Must be familiar with warranty of all parts of the truck and able to determine if a repair is warrantable. Must be at work at least thirty minutes prior to time for the mechanics in order to analyze the work schedule. Location: Hale Center Feedyard in Hale Center, Texas Job Description: The Feed Foreman is an entry-level trainee management position. The foreman is responsible for managing cattle feed intake, daily feed truck productivity, quality control, truck maintenance, assisting with the safety program, expense budgets, and day-to-day supervision tasks. As part of the trainee program, foremen also rotate through all four departments-Feed Delivery, Cattle, Feedmill, and Yard Maintenance-to gain a well-rounded understanding of feedyard operations. Job Responsibilities: Cattle Feed Intake: Determine daily feed calls based on cattle intake patterns, cattle type, weight, health, and weather. Foreman will visually appraise cattle behavior and bunk condition to determine appropriate feed requirements accurately. Foreman will be responsible for coordinating feed requirements and timing with feed delivery, hay delivery, and cattle shipping/receiving when receiving fresh cattle. Productivity: Daily management of feed truck crew to ensure correct, accurate, and timely delivery of all rations. Visual inspection and appraisal of the feed ration. Truck Maintenance: Oversee preventative and scheduled maintenance on all feed trucks, scales, and feeding system computers. Safety Program: Shared responsibility with Feed Delivery Manager for daily operating expenditures in the feed delivery department. Expense Budgets: Shared responsibility with the Feed Delivery Manager for daily operating expenditures in the feed delivery department. Day to day Supervision: New employee orientation and training of Feed Delivery employees. Assist Feed Delivery Manager on annual performance and wage reviews. Deliver appropriate coaching, direction, and daily supervision of processing employees against productivity, quality, and animal husbandry practices. The Foreman Construction is responsible for the coordination and supervision of construction/facilities activities on location, including safety and environmental compliance, contractor performance, cost management, and other supervisory activities on construction projects. The role coordinates new lease roads, locations, batteries, facilities, and pipeline construction and necessary rework as needed to existing roads, locations, batteries, facilities, and pipelines. The role supports in project planning, supervision, and documentation for personnel safety and construction related operations and demonstrates the ability to communicate effectively and work efficiently with landowners, engineers, landmen, geologists, state/province and local officials, and construction vendors and their staff. The role is pivotal in ensuring the successful coordination and execution of new construction projects and rework activities, contributing to the overall success of E&P operations. • Supervises and coordinates new construction projects, including lease roads, well locations, batteries, facilities, and pipelines and collaborates with team members to develop project plans and schedules. • Assembles required project documents such as specifications, drawings, payment schedules, and other business documents related to the work, reviews and approves invoices submitted for payment by vendors, and coordinates and performs tasks involved with project planning. • Supervises the daily activities of direct reports and inspectors, ensuring compliance with safety protocols, quality standards, and project specifications and provides assistance in daily operations, addressing challenges, and making real-time decisions. • Leads and supervises a team to ensure safety, cost-effectiveness, and compliance with regulations, overseeing day-to-day operations and personnel development. • Ensures regulatory compliance in construction activities, maintains a safe and ethical work environment, and mentors, trains, and develops staff to achieve operational excellence. • Upholds and promotes a strong safety culture by enforcing safety procedures and conducting regular safety meetings and participates in safety inspections, incident investigations, and the implementation of corrective actions. • Demonstrates and promotes safe and ethical behavior at all times and possesses the right and obligation to stop work if unsafe conditions exist or are suspected, applying company policies throughout the team's operations. • Interacts with company personnel to coordinate construction activities and communicates construction activities to landowners as necessary for project completion. • Assembles and reviews construction documentation required for permanent construction file and communicates with construction contractors regarding issues including safety performance, project scheduling, quality assurance/quality control, and costs. • Guides and mentors the team, actively contributing to employee selection, performance management, compensation management, career development, and overseeing operational processes. • Works closely with the project engineer and planning teams to ensure all changes and upgrades are incorporated prior to the initiation of the ORR and supports operations with the scheduling, release, and closure of the ORR process. Education: • High School Diploma/General Education Diploma (GED)/Higher Secondary education is required. Associate's Degree in Construction Management, Business Administration or any other related discipline is preferred. Experience: • 6+ years of relevant experience with 1-3 years of supervisory experience, preferably in E&P Operations specializing in Pipeline Construction, Facilities Maintenance, and Construction Codes and Standards or a related field. Industry experience is preferred.
