Job duties include: Reading landscape plans and installing landscapes (includes but not limited to establishing grade, planting trees, installing edging and landscape fabric, placing mulch, and sod installation) Organizing crews, teaching and leading landscape crews in installing landscapes Operating heavy machinery (Skid steer, excavator, etc.) Operating hand-held power tools (saws, welder, etc.) * This position requires successful experience working in landscaping or related field; operate a Bobcat Skid Steer, successful supervising experience and familiarity, and knowledge of plants, shrubs and trees commonly used in southwest Montana. Education and/or Experience: Work Experience: Two (2) years' supervisory experience within a utility construction setting. Demonstrated field experience with digging operations in city and rural areas around utilities and operating equipment such as backhoe/loader, excavator, cable plow and compact track loader, including various attachments. Requirements: Valid Driver's License, Class A CDL preferred. Must be able to pass pre-employment screenings. Ability to motivate, mentor, and lead teams.
