    As the Drywall Foreman, you will plan and supervise the scope of work to completion. Consult with clients in a professional manner, assign tasks, ensure tasks are completed on time, and work is performed according to contract documents. Discipline, mentor, and monitor productivity of employees. Responsibilities: As the Drywall Foreman you will oversee the installation of insulation, framing, drywall, drywall trim, and acoustical ceilings You will be responsible for managing and mentoring craft workers. Maintain relationships with other trades and main project team. Document and track all expenses of material being used and the time it is completed in. Schedule all workforce and order all materials and equipment necessary to complete the job. You will oversee multiple projects at a time. You must be able to effectively and clearly communicate both written and verbally. You will also be expected to uphold the Safety regulations we have and make sure everyone you oversee is also upholding those regulations. You will need to have a high standard of excellence for yourself and others. Work 10hr days when required Work Weekends when required Work 2nd or 3rd shift when required Submit DAILY reports on Raken summarizing work in progress/completed with attached photos Daily QC checks Perform layout of all walls, opening, blocking etc Work with tools when required Document all T&M work performed Remain onsite when manpower is onsite Qualifications: 10-15 years' experience Must be able to coordinate jobsite logistics Read and understand blue prints Have an advanced knowledge of blueprints Procore experience preferred Have a strong work ethic High attention for detail Availability and ability to travel Working Conditions: Normal on-site construction field work. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed to moving mechanical parts and vibration. The employee is occasionally exposed to a variety of extreme conditions at construction job sites. The noise level in the work environment and job sites can be loud. The position regularly works near moving mechanical parts and in outside conditions that include inclement weather, heat and humidity, and exposure to dust and asphalt. Typical Physical Needs: Requires prolonged standing, bending, stooping and stretching. Requires normal range of hearing and eyesight. May need to climb stairs, ladders, scaffolding and lift up to 70 lbs.     Title: Shop Foreman / Welder Classification: Non-Exempt Reports to: Branch Manager / Production Manager Last Updated: 08/28/2025 Summary / Objective The Shop Foreman is responsible for managing workflow, maintaining equipment, supporting the field crews with materials and fabricated parts, and ensuring safety and quality standards are met. While extensive welding experience is not required, a working knowledge of welding and fabrication techniques is essential. Supervise and coordinate daily activities in the shop, including open/close, fabrication, repairs, inventory management, and equipment maintenance. Provide leadership and direction to shop staff, ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently, and to company standards. Receive, offload, and organize incoming materials in the warehouse and yard; maintain accurate inventory levels. Perform basic welding and fabrication tasks as needed to support projects. Ensure equipment, tools, and vehicles are maintained in good working order. Track shop supplies and communicate material needs to management. Assist field crews by preparing and loading materials, equipment, and fabricated items. Support installation crews in the field as needed, including hands-on fence installation when required. Maintain a clean, safe, and organized shop, yard, and warehouse environment in compliance with OSHA and company safety standards. Train and mentor new shop team members. Communicate effectively with project managers, sales staff, and field crews to ensure deadlines and quality expectations are met. Work Environment This position operates primarily in a shop and yard environment with frequent exposure to outdoor weather conditions. This role is often exposed to elements such as extreme heat, cold, rain, snow, sleet, and ice. The noise level can be loud. Standard office equipment (computers, phones, printers) may be used for documentation and communication. Position Type/Expected Hours of Work This is a full-time position, generally Monday through Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. This position may require long hours, evenings, or weekends as job duties demand. Travel This position requires travel to and from job sites daily and may require occasional overnight/out-of-town travel. Required Education and Experience Previous experience in a shop or warehouse setting preferred. Basic welding and fabrication skills (MIG, stick, or flux core) required; advanced skills a plus but not necessary. Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting ability. Experience in fencing, construction, or related industries preferred but not required. Ability to read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, and work orders. Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
