What Does A Foreman/Operator Do At SMG-NRG Park

* Including but not limited to the following.
* Other duties may be assigned.
* Maintains labor on all events and ensures labor is within the projected guideline.
* Responsible for informing and communicating event information to subordinate staff.
* Responsible for supervising set up/tear down of all events.
* Includes sign making, sign distribution, cone/delineator placement and barrier installations.
* Responsible for preparation, set up, organization and placement of all vehicle directional signs and pedestrian signs.
* Ensures all signs are compliant with NRG Park standards.
* Responsible for programming and maintenance of all Digital Message Signs.
* Works extended and/or irregular hours including nights, weekends and holidays, as needed.
* Responsible for maintaining all equipment.
* Includes operating and maintaining the sweeper truck, golf carts, forklifts, etc…
* Maintain inventory and accountability of tools, equipment, and materials pertaining to the Parking Operations Department.
* Carry out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with SMG’s policies and applicable laws.
* These responsibilities may include training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; addressing complaints and resolving problems.

What Does A Foreman/Operator Do At Newmont

* Direct and manage daily crew activity to achieve safe, efficient, and optimal production
* Responsible for accurate compilation and submittal of employee time sheets
* Effectively interface with other departments and contractors in pursuit of mine site production goals
* Pursue opportunities of continuous improvement including participation on continuous improvement teams
* Motivate, coach, and develop employees to achieve mine site production goals
* Implement and hold accountable crew adherence and support of the HSLP program and associated policies and procedures
* Collaborate with others to effectively implement change management and recognize best practices
* Responsible for the safe and efficient use of mining and associated support equipment. including task training of mining and support equipment operators
* Ensure compliance of all company policies/procedures
* Process, understand, and pursue the key objectives associated with mine production (production targets and associated cost constraints)
* Evaluate daily crew performance and complete formal reviews as needed
* Responsible for the developing future proficient equipment operators from within the crew
* Understand and follow engineering mine plans and engage in productive communication with the planning engineers and surveyors
* Lead and mentor with the Newmont visions and values as the foundation for decision making.
* Ensure all reporting is accurately completed in a timely manner (HSLP, CPI’s, Environmental, daily shift log, HR, and crew documentation)
* Drive “Safe Work Performance” through clear and concise communication of associated safety procedures, appropriate tool use, and task training
* Proficiently operate and engage the workforce in the accurate use of the Pitram Mine Management Control System
* Insist on and demonstrate teamwork, as well as honest and transparent communication among the crew and across all mine site operational functions
* The above duties and responsibilities are representative of the nature and level of work assigned and are not necessarily all-inclusive
* Bachelor's degree and three (3) years experience or eight (8) years mining experience
* Leadership abilities and values must be developed and demonstrated
* Experience as an effective lead man an asset
