Typical work weeks are 4-10 hour shifts or 5-10 hour shifts. Available to travel as the project requires. Willing to work over-time and be able to work extended periods of time. May work in storm restoration operations to rebuild and/or repair damaged power systems. May attend training classes or seminars to gather knowledge of new processes, safety regulations and/or refresher training. Walking and working across uneven terrain. Climbing on and off large trucks and equipment. Must be able to work outside 100% of the time. We work in inclement weather that includes heat, cold, rain and possible snow. Able to lift in excess 50 pounds on a daily basis. Willing to work off the ground in man baskets. Normal working heights are 20'-60' with the possibility of working at 120' heights. The Fit Foreman oversees the Fitting Department and individuals working within it to ensure maximum operational success. The Foreman serves as a primary resource for the department and communicates regularly with Team Leads and share information upstream with other member of production management. The Foreman must have excellent working knowledge of manufacturing processes, manufacturing engineering principles and ASME/AWS welding procedures. Job Description About the Role: The Highway Construction Foreman plays a critical leadership role in overseeing and coordinating all aspects of highway construction projects to ensure timely, safe, and high-quality completion. This position is responsible for managing on-site personnel, equipment, and materials while maintaining strict adherence to project plans, safety regulations, and budget constraints. The foreman acts as the primary point of contact between project managers, superintendents, and labor crews, facilitating clear communication and efficient workflow. By proactively identifying and resolving issues, the foreman ensures that construction milestones are met and that the finished highway infrastructure meets all engineering and regulatory standards. Minimum Qualifications: Minimum of 3 years of experience in highway or heavy civil construction, with at least 1 year in a supervisory or foreman role. Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and equipment used in highway projects. Valid Texas driver's license. Ability to read, interpret and utilize construction plans.
