Installs underground storm, sanitary, and water piping systems. Inspects equipment, structures, and materials to identify the cause of errors, safety hazards, or other issues, and solutions or escalates them appropriately. Facilitates knowledge transfer and teaches trade skills to less experienced tradespeople. Reviews blueprints and specifications to determine work sequence and effective. Understands safety procedures and keeps the crew following the rules. Ensures all crew members have the required tools/equipment to perform their job duties. Collaborates with foreman on scheduling experience and proficiency. Assists with the site foreman duties when s/he is absent.
